Kahle Park — Attraction in South Lake Tahoe

This review is strictly based on my experience in this park during a high snow winter season. We came here on a Sunday morning at the end of February, and there was nobody else here. The hills are perfect for sledding and the field is huge so there was a vast flat area to play in the snow. I came here with 3 people with disabilities, one of whom was in a wheelchair. It took an immense amount of work to get him all the way to the hill, but there was a compacted path of snow from the parking lot to the hill so that made it possible.

This had become a home away from home for me. There's a Day Care, a B-Ball court (inside/outside), gym with weights, cardio, heavy bag, and speed bag. The staff id always friendly and pretty knowledgeable. . . If you don't want to be stuck inside there is a great track and field with a baseball diamond in the back of the field. Wonderful place to relax. The bathrooms were locked and the water fountain did not work but it is still nice. They do have a porta potty. Recharge your cell phone at the gazebo.
