If there’s no love for the pup there’s no love from me.

Overall the experience and product these guys offer isn’t terrible.

I’d actually admit it’s pretty decent their pet policies abstaining; genuinely nothing but good things to say about the coffee and pastries.

Here’s my problem though, I asked for a little cup of whipped cream, gladly offered to pay for it and, - as the barista was beginning to grab that for me -mentioned my four-legged Potato loves his little pup-cup treats.

You would’ve thought the whipped cream canister was red-hot with how fast she whipped her hands back and said “we don’t do pup cups.”

Now, to be fair, they did offer me a dog bone and she explained their rationale: it was too expensive for them to give their made-in-house whip cream to pets.

On the other hand. . . . I’m not asking for anything for free. I’m happy to pay for the product and, in fairness to me, I did just spend $50 on two coffees, a pastry, and a t-shirt. There’s no free-loading expectation here even if I think a little whip cream is a small ask after you’ve gained whatever profit margin exists on the products I’ve already purchased.

But hey, all’s fair.

You don’t have to give me whip cream - whether I’m wiling to pay for it or not - . . . and I don’t have to ever give you any of my business again.

If thats good business for you it’s definitely good business for all the other coffee shops who feel...

Today was my first time visiting Clyde's since they opened. After hearing how good thier coffee was, I have to say I was disappointed. As a local resident, we always try to support local businesses. We don't go out for coffee often, but we'll always try to avoid Starbucks when we do.

There was nothing wrong with the quality of the Latte I received. It would have been fine if I had ordered one (I ordered a Mocha). But what I didn't appreciate was waiting 15 minutes for it while 3 other patrons who arrived after us got their espresso shots and thermos refills expedited while we waited. It didn't help when my wife asked about an ETA and was told we had to wait because other orders were being produced that had "come first".

Adding insult to injury was the fact was that I was told my order was prepared correctly when it clearly was not what I ordered. Pushing back on a customer when you make a mistake doesn't help. In fairness, the Barista did offer to remake my beverage, but by now, the rest of our party had been served and we were running late.

I'm sorry, but I won't be back and I won't...

As we travel around we always look for the local coffee place. It's a different feeling altogether, no matter where you come from a simple coffee place makes you feel at home. I love the hustle bustle inside the coffee place. I got their most popular lavender latte, apple strudel and iced chai latte. Indeed loved the vibe, the interiors. I wanted to spend more time here and chill but we had plans to go further to the beach. But I am carrying the lavender latte in my hand and a small piece of this experience of Clyde's coffee roasting vibe. Anyone who comes to this side please don't miss it because once you're here, your heart will be filled with love. I loved the service, the staff is extremely helpful and polite. The lady who took our order was extremely patient and did not rush us. She helped us to choose our drinks. The gentleman who brewed our coffee had a big smile which left a great impact overall on this...

Friends, if you happen to be in South Lake Tahoe and tread past the state line into Nevada, please do yourself a favor and stop for an iced matcha latte! Before deciding to head back home to Sacramento the husband and I searched for a local coffee shop to connect to, read reviews, stopped all the searching and decided to head here. I always go for the matcha lattes when I’m visiting new coffee shops and instantly was like “OH YEAH.” I’m set! Gaaaaaah, I love a sweet matcha latte and didn’t even have to ask for it to be sweetened, seems as if it comes this way! So if you’re wanting to venture out and try an iced matcha that gives less of the “grassy” taste, this coffee shop won’t disappoint. AND on top of all of that the atmosphere was so cute/quaint. Smaller in size but they do offer outside seating and the customer service was GREAT! Thank you Clydes Coffe
