The Park Villa — Attraction in South Plainfield

We hosted a baby shower at Park Villa Hall on 07/13/2025 with time 11 AM to 3 PM. While the food, drinks, and cleanliness were excellent, our overall experience was disappointing due to poor event support and unprofessional management behavior.

Event manager Shweta did good job laying out the hall but was largely absent during the event, leaving us to rearrange tables ourselves and manage without the reserved signs we were promised. Early access was strictly denied prior to 11 am even to family members, adding unnecessary stress as we struggled to complete essential setup tasks on time.

Worse, once Shweta left early and Krupa from management took over, treated us rudely—making my mother cry with her harsh serious tone and rushing us out at 3 pm despite our efforts to safely pack up after guests had already left.

Basic facility shortcomings like watered-down soap and lack of branded napkins replaced by regular thin napkins were noticeable. Requests for simple assistance with the welcome drinks table were ignored and denied us to distribute the drinks to our relatives. Management also refused elderly guests the option to take leftover food despite cultural and health needs by the end of the event. Outside was nice but they didn’t do clean landscaping to take photos.

The venue presented itself as accommodating prior to payment, but after that, the reality felt very different. Overall, while there were bright spots, the lack of coordination and professionalism overshadowed what should have been a joyful event.

I hope Park Villa Hall takes this feedback seriously and improves guest support and management conduct...

All guests in our party had a terrible experience with the Valet service. They lost the key card for our tesla and refused to even look for it stating we never gave it to them. The valet who gave us the ticket was different from the valet who took our car in. I specially returned to give him the key when we couldn't find it at the time of getting the ticket. The valet who drove our car, stopped the car, got out of it to collect it from me.To our misfortune he wasn't present at the time of pick up. Now the valet who gave us the ticket was present at the time of pick and he simply kept yelling at us, while smoking a cigarette at our faces, that we never gave them the key. The extremely rude and disrespectful valets were the talk at the event the next day, because we weren't the only ones with lost keys and being met with bad behavior. If you're hosting your event here, beware...

North Plainfield High School's 2023 Prom was beautiful and we are so very thankful to have chosen your venue for our event. The entire staff, especially Jill and Farum were so attentive the entire night! The food was super delicious--the pesto pasta was one of our favorites! The students also loved the sushi and the taco station!Our students had an amazing time and took so many beautiful pictures.

Shavi, was amazing to communicate with over email and answered all of our many questions. She was willing to work with us to ensure that we stayed on budget for our large student count (over 300). We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is searching for a spacious, elegant and beautiful site to host their event. Thank you again-North Plainfield High School...
