The South Windsor Public Library is great resource for learning. That have private rooms for meetings, studying, and seminars which are very handy, free, and open to the public. They have good information in their website with the perks of having a library card and even passes in museums. They have good separation in the kids area in the lower level of the library and main library in the second level. It’s very quiet and a perfect place for studying. I would definitely go back!

Stunning library with amazing programming. Staff and Friends of the Library volunteers working at two fundraising events there today were great. They had a jewelry sale and book sale as well as a whole area of free books. Will post pics of my jewelry buys and the library itself.

It's a library, and since the much talked about one in Alexandria burned, I don't really see any other alternatives that are local and convenient. As for the staff, I can't blame them for being dismissive of certain people. After all, individuals who endeavor to work in a place surrounded by the great works of literature, both ancient and contemporary, probably find inherent, personal mental discomfort in continually having to direct learning disabled parents to the Harry Potter section to find something for the kids to read in order to satisfy the local public education curriculum requirements, as well as to keep them away from the X-box for more than a few minutes. I can only imagine that they experience the emotional pain similar to that of a Shakespearean actor forced to play a voiceover role in an Anime show, on a daily basis, in order to make ends meet, or, the turmoil that Kenneth Branagh went through when he starred in "The Wild West"...

This will forever be one of my favorite places to visit. The library is quiet, very clean, comfortable and safe. The staff is kind, helpful and welcoming. The environment and atmosphere is tranquil, an excellent place to read and study and I never have to worry about leaving my belongings unattended for too long. The South Windsor Public Library is a good representation of what this towns community strives for and I am so grateful to have this location to go to whenever I want to read, study or print school work whenever I need. The staff has also handled the pandemic very well, as they re constantly sanitizing and complying to all regulations, going above and beyond to keep us all safe, happy and...

I love this library because they have a lot of books that I like to read as well as cool events like art exhibits and book sales.

The biggest pro is that they have an ongoing bookstore inside the library that the Friends Of The Library own and they're open on Tuesdays and Saturday mornings.

There's also a free book section in the lobby as well. There's some cool monthly book displays as well as self-checkout station, scanner, chairs to sit, computers, clipping seed display and many more. There's also a really nice Children's room.

The librarians are really nice people and they're helpful. The library services are...
