Town Center — Local services in South Windsor

Same as it ever was. Location wise that is. 😉

The plaza itself HAS changed much!

Originally the main plaza looked similar to how it does now. However where stop and stop begins and ends was all just regular smaller stores the same size height wise as the rest of the building (notice how stop & shop's roof is much higher than the rest of the building?). Well back then CVS was the main store in the plaza. Stop and Shop wasn't even there yet. In fact many of the businesses that are in Mount plaza still did not start off there or started off there after stop & Shop came to town. I remember there used to be a pizza place right smackdown in the middle of where Stop & Shop building is now! I kind of miss it but it is nice to have a real supermarket in town nowadays we can't always eat pizza all the time I guess. At least the liquor store is still there!

CVS now has its own building.

Everything there is pretty much nice in general it's not luxury say along the lines of how evergreen Walk feels or anything like that but it's definitely comfortable place to get some shopping done or some errands run. For me that's nice because I don't always want to dress up to go shopping especially if I need clothing! How does anybody get to the point where they can't fit their clothes anymore and then have to go shopping in the clothes there essentially breaking...

They have almost everything you would want usually but sometimes I can't find specific things that I'm looking for for a particular recipe. But other than that for the most part you can find what you need even during covid-19 although sometimes the part of the day that you go will determine whether or not a certain meat is available. You know first come first serve which is understandable. And there are some limits on how much of certain items you can take because of covid-19 as well. Most often I see a limit of two per household or something like that. But the people I ask questions to when I need help are always very friendly and helpful it's always a...

I don't like the layout of this place. I went to Sal's which is usually pretty good. Emeralds is worth checking out for a good breakfast and Quest is a great place if you are in need of a blood test.
