Great Food Market with even Greater People working Very hard to make all of our Lives much easier and better for us during these difficult times and honestly, all of the time. The Store is always very clean, very well stocked, (even during the worst of times, this Store was far more Stocked than many), and they seem to find the nicest people to work there. The Management is really Wonderful and they go out of their way to say Hello and stop a moment to ask how you are doing and what makes them different is that they don't walk away until you answer 😊 which shows a great sense of sincerity. I am there in the evenings most often and I am speaking about the Night Crew when I mention that Chris, Sue, Eileen, The Deli Crew, and really everyone (I wish I could remember more of the Super Terrific Employee's names because there are a handful who are just remarkable who work at the Registers and Stocking. I'm a firm believer that when you have a Great Management Team then that Greatness will eventually trickle down to every one and it sure has at this Stop & Shop Store. I highly recommend shopping at this Market later in the Day, say Hi to any of the Super Friendly Crew and tell them that Mya the German Shepherd Service Dog said to say Hi 🐾 ! She Loves our visits to the Market to see everyone there, oh and to buy Groceries. 🤣 In fact, the Stop & Shop Crew in South Windsor, are her Favorite Humans ! Mya even knows them each by their names. My mother had placed an order for my birthday today, she is in Michigan (where I am from) I literally have nobody out here in Connecticut and she wanted to make my birthday special so she placed a online order with stop and shop which consisted of a ice cream cake, a bouquet of flowers, a gift card, and some bananas. The delivery driver ( named; Clifford) upon arrival tells me that he forgot my bouquet of flowers and that they didn't have any cakes in stock. When I asked if he could go get the flowers he told me he didn't feel like it and threw his hands up and said it isn't his problem. This was an absolute horrible experience not just for me but for my mother who was on video chat with me singing happy birthday to me and there not even being the cake she ordered not just that but the flowers weren't there either?!!! Why even deliver to me....here's the kicker, my mom had called Several times to check on the order and not once was she told that there was no cake. Infact she was concerned about it melting and they told her they put the frozen food on dry ice so it doesn't melt. So where's my cake?? I know that the flowers are back at the store and the driver Clifford made it very clear that he didn't care. Definitely would not recommend ordering from here...

Two words: Deli John! First off, I have to say that this, Stop & Shop is exceptional to any in the area. We used to live in Enfield and frequented that Stop & Shop but when we moved to Windsor gave this one a try, and it is hands-down, the most friendly, well organized, and pleasant location in the surrounding towns. With that being said, there is some thing that makes this Stop & Shop, truly exceptional, and that is Deli John. It might sound like such a small thing, but when you have somebody caring about your experience, it makes your entire day better. John at the deli always is meticulous about confirming exactly what kind of deli cuts you’re looking for and verifies that he is giving you exactly what you asked. This seemingly small gesture makes us come back to this Stop & Shop time and time again. John is kind, hard-working, and truly an asset. We don’t get deli meat from any other establishment because we know that when John is working, we will get exactly what we’re looking for every time and that is worth it’s weight in gold. It really is about the little things in life and John brings...
