This is a unique review, but I wanted to acknowledge the joy that this restaurant brought to my grandfather. The Pepper Pot was his favorite restaurant, and nothing brought him more joy than going out to lunch and getting the daily soup special. The servers were always so kind - bringing him extra bread and asking how he was doing. Because of the kindness of the staff (and obviously the delicious soup), I will continue to visit and have a bowl of soup in his honor. ❤️

Great breakfast actually have onions in the hash browns can't find that anywhere it seems the bacon wasn't burnt the pancakes are huge beware lol. Not too pricey either. But the staff should work on being more friendly. Our waitress was plain very to the point didn't smile much and acted like it was too much of a rush for her to handle. The hash in not good in my opinion and the pancake was a little on the chewy side we did enjoy most though.

Hands down a great spot to eat breakfast. We came from Norwalk and were passing through and it was worth the stop. The food was amazing and hit the spot and our server was such a sweet person and took great care of us. We had two kids with us under 5 and they were very nice and gave us crayons. They have an awesome wall while you wait to draw on with chalk. Definitely will be going back.

Today was my first experience and it was the epitome of average , like so mid , im upset i can't give it 2.5 stars . He's my break down; The triple decker is very misleading ; it is just a standard square bread sandwich with an extra slice of bread to separate the meat from the veggies. A traditional triple decker has your choice of protein on both levels. They don't follow directions , I had asked they put the bacon on the side so i could share it with my dog , but they didn't and i had to pick it off. They don't advertise or tell you they are cash only , but when you arrive they have a "conveniently" placed ATM with a pretty convenient transaction fee for using it.

Now the staff is very friendly , from when they answered the phone to when i arrived , all very nice and pleasant but that is the only redeeming quality .. the flavor of my food was no better than your average highschool cafeteria , just satisfactory and the portions are small for the cost. In fact as i was eating my meal i ordered something else from another restaurant and I'm now enjoying that as i am...

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY! BAD WITH KIDS! I’ve been before and enjoyed the food but today’s experience will keep me from ever returning. We had a waitress that was extremely rude and unprofessional and does not belong in the customer service/restaurant industry. She got mad at my toddler for making a mess which is what toddlers do and something that I, as his parent, was planning to help him clean up. If you know anything about children then you know that what he was really doing was working and learning and not misbehaving but I can tell this person was uneducated and doesn’t know the first thing about children. She doesn’t even know how to talk to them! She publicly shamed my child for his activity and disrespected me as a parent. It’s amazing how your approach to things can shape a persons experience. Her approach was hostile, unprofessional, rude and not family friendly. She has single handily lost customers for this restaurant. Choose...
