It's nice to have a big dog park available. It would be nice if there was more seating in the shade, because it can get quite busy and hot. On the two times I was there I noticed dog poop both on the sidewalk going in, and all over the field here and there. It would be nice if people were a little better about picking up after themselves, and if it was a little better maintained by the county. The water spigot is not very conveniently located, but at least there is one. However, there was only one small bowl available for water in the whole field, which is not enough when it's busy with lots of dogs. I will probably continue to go here from time to time, but will also look for another dog park that's a little...

People often complain that some owners don't pick up after their dogs; it can happen to anyone if you aren't watching them every second. But at this place it just doesn't seem to be part of the culture to pick up. There are trash cans, but I did not see the bag dispensers and reminders that are ubiquitous at other dog parks nowadays. Unsurprisingly, this is the poopiest dog park I've ever visited. Which also means there are a lot of flies. So that part stinks, but everything...
Read moreGreat place to bring your dog if they are into running/fetching or socializing with other like sized dogs. This place has its share of owners not paying attention and gets a little crowded around peak times which is to be expected at any park. The the only knock is when they redo the different areas ie: large dog area the, large dogs are then to use the spare area which is a quarter of the size of the regular one to the point that the under 35 pound dog area is larger than the backup spot. I believe areas should be expanded so there is not a three month period twice a year in which the dogs are not on top...
