We had a blast at the outdoor water park today was our first time going we got there early to make sure we got tables for my daughters birthday we were expecting a minimum of 15 people with the possibility of 25 so we took the two long tables because there were so many of us while we were in the water a group of people decided to come up and try to take over one of the tables my husband walked up and nicely explained that we were using them for the baby's party they then decided to set up on the small space between our table and the wall and made a rude comment about us babysitting the tables i had a question about exiting and reentering and asked the pool manager i believe her name is keyli she was so awesome and nice and answered my question and asked if i needed anything else i explained it was our daughters birthday party and that the people against the wall made it clear they were irritated with us having the tables and made sure it was first come first serve and she confirmed it was and offered to help us move the tables out away from the wall so both us and the other group could have more space and be shaded and also had the whole crew come over and move the tables out and together to make one long table it was awesome altho the other group made a few rude remarks about us moving and made a complaint to the cashier even tho we never spoke to them or went near them after a while keyli (im sorry im misspelling it) came by to let us know they had a larger shaded seating area we could use it was farther from the pool but less crowded more shade and more space and they would all help us move everything so we all did and we appreciated it so much for our first time at the park i couldn't have asked for a better experience i recommend going but getting there early and leaving your items to reserve a spot but still keeping your eye out the staff is awesome and friendly its the other guess who can damper the experience thank you so much to the staff and the pool manager we will be back and will recommend our...
Read moreIf you’ve ever wondered where Las Vegas locals go to soak up some sun, good vibes, and even better festivals—Desert Breeze Park is the spot. I’ve attended multiple events here over the years, and each time I’m reminded why this place is such a gem for gatherings of all kinds. The layout of the park is perfect for festivals—there’s tons of open space for booths, food trucks, stages, and seating areas, yet it never feels too chaotic. Whether it’s a food and wine festival, a cultural celebration, or a full-blown music event, there always seems to be room to roam, dance, and snack without feeling like you’re being herded. One of the best things about this park is how versatile and well-maintained it is. I’ve been here for daytime family-friendly events as well as more lively nighttime concerts, and the energy is always top-notch. The parking is usually manageable (a small miracle in Vegas), and the accessibility makes it easy for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the experience. It’s also a favorite venue for local festivals that highlight Vegas’s cultural diversity—like Pure Aloha, Tacos & Tamales Fest, and even Boots in the Park. Each one brings its own flavor—literally and figuratively—and the park transforms into something new and vibrant every time. If you’re ever in town during an event, definitely check out what’s happening at Desert Breeze Park. It’s more than just a patch of grass—it’s a full-blown festival canvas that brings the Las Vegas...
Read moreNice skate park. My kids 9 & 12 enjoyed it, but not their favorite. They're transitioning from scooter to skateboard, so the small obstacles were almost too easy, and the big obstacles, i.e., bowls, were too deep. Would have been more fun with the scooters, they said. We went close to sunset. I'm not sure I would have felt safe alone with the kids after dark. I was glad my husband was along. I definitely would not allow my kids to go alone, ever. There is almost always some foul language at any skatepark, but I found this one to be especially true amongst the young kids (pre-teen) as well. Most of it stops when there's a mom standing around watching, so I would come again, but there are definitely better options. There were lots of memorials around the park. I've never seen this before or noticed it when we'd come years ago, but I think they were more decorated considering the time of year. I think it may have recently been the Day of the Dead? While the kids did try to come across as tough little dudes, they were all very nice and in fact, my 12 year old made several friends and swapped gear for turns just like he does any time he hits a skate park. Could use some benches on the sidelines so I don't have to sit on something a kid may want...
