If youâre reading this, just know that I travel all over Las Vegas for some of the best pastries. I rate each bakery in 4 categories. The categories are Venue, Staff, P&F & Customer Experience.
Venue (Whatâs it like in there?) From the outside, the bakery looks almost like a giant restaurant because of how wide it stretches. Normally, most bakeries are very narrow and small and Manan Bakery is the opposite of it. When I entered, I found out that this place has venues that be can be rented for different events as well as its own restaurant and bakery inside. So if you would like to hold a small birthday party or an event for your family or friends, this is definitely an option because they not only serve pastries but also cakes and floral decorations.
Staff (Professionalism & Ability to Serve) This one was easy for me because the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were courteous, professional, and were very knowledgeable of each pastry. Since the actual pastry chefs in the back are rarely present to represent their work, I heavily rely on the people working the front of the store to explain each pastry if need be. I was able to easily pick four different pastries and the staff were able to explain each one with great detail to the point where I can imagine what it would taste like before even tasting it.
Price & Flavor (Does the taste match the price?) For this bakery, I was able to calculate the average price for each cake and pastry and it is an average of anywhere from $2 to $4 per slice and coffee was around $4, which is cheaper than the coffee in the casino where it averages $6-$8. I also ordered a caramel macchiato to see how strong and flavorful their coffee was which was great coffee. For pastries, I tried the Matcha cream BrulĂŠ along with a Raffaelo cake, and two pistachio flavored pastries.
The Patries were balanced in sweetness and texture and when combined with that Macchiato coffee, created a whole experience on my taste buds. Do you know that feeling when the pastry ratio and the sip of coffee ratio is just right? Thatâs exactly what that feels like. Overall, the flavors were nothing short of amazing and the prices very reasonable for the amount of flavors they pack on their pastries. đĽŽ
Customer Experience & Atmosphere (Overall Rating)
My personal experience was âď¸ âď¸ âď¸âď¸âď¸. It was the Customer Service, the staff and the overall experience. I love being in a bakery where I feel comfortable and a bakery that is not uptight. A bakery where I can eat my pastry, drink my coffee, and be able to talk to the people that work in there. Unlike some of the overpriced cafĂŠs in the casinos, this place is a hidden gem.
I would like to give a special thanks to Kianna, Jr., Arthur for an amazing first time experience. Also a big kudos to everyone working in the back serving all these delicious treats. Itâs always the people that make up the company and these are the right ones to have.
If youâre visiting Las Vegas and love different flavored pastries and coffee, this place is a must!...

It was our wedding on December 11, 2021. At an unfortunate moment, we decided to order the cake from the bakery in the subject, 'Manan Bakery'. We visited the bakery, tasted a couple of cakes, decided to order a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, and thought we would decide on the design and place the order. The person who helped us through this gave us the Manan bakery's email address and asked us to iMessage them the final design. So we did, later that evening. And got no response for the next day as well. So we called in the day after that. Asked about the whole thing, spoke to 2 people explaining it, and then spoke with the owner and she said, we donât look at designs that way and asked us to send the email to the bakeryâs email address. We did and then called back in a couple of hours. And to the peak of mismanagement, we again were welcomed with the same thing, whom did you send it to? when did you send it in? whatâs your name? and then please talk to the owner!! She then look at it and quoted a price and then asked us to come in to place the order. 15 mins after the call, we get a response to the email we sent, one of the employees said we received the image but details are missing!! Really!? we just explained to three people at your business!
So we decided not to respond and then just visit and get the details straight in person. So we did and then talked to a lovely lady who helped us through and provided the details. We said we need the cake as the image, there were some cotton flowers and wanted those to be replaced with some artificial ones. We explicitly requested NO fondant and instead buttercream for the outer icing. She checked with the kitchen and confirmed that we can do it with buttercream. Before making the payment, we stressed one more time for no fondant and buttercream instead to which the person who took the order showed us the notes that said so.
Cut to the wedding day, we get the cake, dry as crumbs and had a fondant thick enough that could not be cut with a knife! We made a few unsuccessful attempts and could not cut through. With 30 people looking at us, we literally had to request a dish, remove the fondant layer (In the image attached, you can see the small layer we removed to begin with. Just mark the thickness of the layer), place it on the dish, and then cut the cake naked enough to reveal the layers of the cake!
We then tried getting in touch with the bakery after the wedding day to see if there was something that did not translate right. We called and now not to our surprise (third time's the charm), we jumped through three people and then the phone was handed over to the owner. And none of them recognized the order!! And then the owner said to email us your concerns and we would get back. I sent the email. And followed up. Got no response. None. No explanation as to why the whole cake and in turn the ceremony was ruined because of their incompetence!!
Manan Bakery, we are still looking forward to an...
Read moreThis 4/5 rating is as high as it is specifically because of their amazing baklava. I have to say that everything else I tried either simply wasn't my style or seemed sub-par. But I can promise you that the baklava was on point. Now you should know that they offer baklava in three forms - in a roll, cut into a triangles and cut into squares. We tried the latter. It comes with a syrup that is meant to be poured on top. We didn't bother using that because it tasted so amazing just on its own.
I also enjoyed the "cookie" I tried. I put it in quotations because it's really more of a cookie bar - it has a pie crust and your choice of three different toppings. I went with the chocolate chips. There was a solid layer of those chips that were then covered with what I guess might be a baked layer of condensed milk. Pretty unique and yummy.
The other two items we tried were based on the girl at the counters suggestion, both apparently are their most popular. I wasn't much for either. Mostly because they were cakes with very little icing and I am an icing girl. If cake with little icing is your thing, I'm sure you'd love them.
Lastly, there was a Snickers Bar that was totally catching my eye. Unfortunately, it was pretty disappointing. There were layers of cake, a peanut butter buttercream and a meringue, all topped with caramel and peanuts. Sounds fantastic, right? Well, it failed mostly due to the fact that the cake was dry to the point of being crunchy. And the caramel and peanuts on top? Completely flavorless. Not sweet, not salty. Not anything. I have to say that the layers of buttercream and meringue were absolutely delicious! But is it work $4 and picking apart the layers? No.
I would definitely give this place another shot. I'd get that baklava again. But maybe try one of those chocolate mousses instead of...
