We have been loyal customers of this restaurant for over 6 years or so, ordering frequently for both small family dinners and large gatherings. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was so bad that we will not be returning.
For a special event with 12+ guests, we placed an order to be delivered at 6:00 PM. At 6:30 PM, with no delivery in sight, we called and spoke with XX and another staff member. Each time we called, we were told the food would arrive “in 10 minutes.” This repeated several times—at 7:00 PM, then 7:30 PM, and even at 8:00 PM—with the same empty promises. After more than two hours of waiting, we ended up scrambling to order food elsewhere to feed our guests. what a humiliation it was though.
The most frustrating part? The payment was promptly processed at the time of order, yet the delivery service was completely unreliable. This was not just a one-off issue. Over the years, we’ve noticed a decline in service: missing utensils, forgotten pita bread (which is supposed to be complimentary), and an overall lack of attention to detail. We tried to resolve the issue privately and avoid making it a big deal. Unfortunately, the owner’s response was both unprofessional, unpleasant and disrespectful, which only made the situation worse. Out of courtesy, I won’t mention his name here.
For special events or when guests are involved, I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. They have lost the reliability and customer care they once had, and the management’s and owner's response to our concerns felt dismissive rather than apologetic. Save yourself the stress and embarrassment—order from somewhere that values your time and...
Read moreMy father had recommended this restaurant as he had eaten here several times in the past. We went there with myself, my husband, and my father on a Monday night (September 23, 2019). They seated us right away, and seemed to be ok with our request to not be seated too near a large group who had also just come in (it can get noisy if you are near a large group, so we always try to be seated away from any large group so we can have our own conversation without shouting), or at a table in a corner. However, after seating us and providing us with menus, no one ever came back. Not to give us water, see if we wanted anything to drink, if we were ready to order, nothing. The table they were originally going to give us, right next to us, in the corner, a man came in after us and was seated at that table. While we sat there waiting, they came and got his order, got him a glass of water, SERVED HIM his order (at least the appetizer portion), and still never even came to our table. We were in clear view of the front counter where 3-4 of the wait staff/hosts were gathered most of the time just standing there. After over 20 minutes of waiting for someone to come to our table, we finally got up and left, and voiced our displeasure as we went out the door - they never even acknowledged us or apologized. I definitely would NOT recommend this place for their service. I have no idea if the food is good. My father has indicated he will not be gong...
Read moreI started visiting this place when they only had four serving tables in 2008. The mother and father used to cook and the son would serve, they were nice and respectful. I stopped going there after the last visit, their customer service deteriorated over time and they became greedy. They started charging for items that suppose to be included. For example, they charge for pita bread when you order hummus although they said its included. The worst time when I visited last i ordered a plate with meat only, which I have been doing for a while, they charged me 8$ for a 9$ plate. In the past it used to be $6, so when I brought it to the waitress attention she stared at me responded that it was impossible that they charged that in the past, given the fact that she's only been working there 3 weeks. I asked for manager she said he's busy, not available. I paid and as I was walking out I hear her say under her breath ( stupid B**). I was furious and if I didn't have to go to work I would've camped there all day to meet with her manager. One more note. This restaurant is an ethnic one but workers there show respect only if you were armenian, I remember having to wait for 20m or so for a table although there were many empty ones while armenians visitors where seated and served immediatley...
