The establishment is nice looking. Very clean. But the service isn’t the best. My sister and I went here and the wait time wasn’t too long we walked the strip then came back in and sat at the bar they have. They don’t have anyone to help with them you at the bar. We wanted a drink but no one helped us. And they weren’t super busy because the ladies at the front were just on their phones relaxing. It’s no big deal but that was strike one. Strike two when the lady came to help me with my nails for the first two or three minutes after I sat in the chair she was just on her phone texting. I understand maybe she had something important going on whatever. It’s okay but also it’s just kinda rude ya know. I showed the lady my photo for how I wanted my nails. And I had bought some brand new nail polish from Sally’s to match the color. She never asked to see the photo again after looking at it once which is okay but you can see what I asked for vs what I got it’s not exactly correct. But everything I stated before isn’t why I’m giving this low rating. I came to this establishment before years ago and they did a very nice job. But the girl who did my nails today did a less than good job. Because today there’re harsh lines, the acrylic isn’t even, my nail length isn’t exactly consistent on both hands and even tho I got them done two hours ago it looks like my thumb nails needs a fill in and there are air bubbles in the nail polish. I can say maybe the bubbles are from the brand new nail polish I bought but why would brand new nail polish never opened before do that? Genuinely asking because I’m not nail tech. Maybe that was because of my choice in polish. But the harsh lines and uneven acrylic isn’t because of anyone except the nail tech. I don’t get my nails done often I’m a plane Jane I like simple looks. But I like them to look neat. Furthermore, A nail salon is suppose to feel welcoming and relaxing. There was hardly any genuine nice customer interaction between the nail tech and customer. No I lied after I got done I went and sat with my sister who was getting her nails done and that guy who did hers (Daniel) I think that was his name he was actually nice and interacted with us a little and the crazy thing is he was doing some elaborate complicated design on my sisters nails yet he still managed to interact. This place needs to maybe put the techs through some customer service course because the vibe in the salon was so static and unsettling. Minus Daniel who was nice. Maybe they get so much business that they could care less about making the customer feel welcomed, maybe they are over worked, maybe my nail tech was going through something and wasn’t focused on her work. Idk. I Just wish my nails and my experience were better. I paid $45 for this. If you’re wondering why I didn’t say anything about my nails or about the tech ect it’s because I didn’t want to cause conflict. When I was there a lady was already upset causing a ruckus because they told her they couldn’t fulfill her full service. I didn’t hear all the details because it wasn’t any of my business but I just didn’t think telling the nail tech that my acrylic job was uneven and that there are harsh lines ect you know. And they probably wouldn’t even have had time to fix the issue. I am not looking for any free service or to come in and fix the issue. I actually live some ways from there and kinda went out of my way to go to this specific location because of the great experience I had previously. I am leaving this review so maybe it helps them know what they can improve on and if I come back weeks, months, or years from now hopefully...
Read moreMy experience at the Finneytown location, has always been an excellent one. However, today was terrible. Rose, the technician that did my hands and feet, did an absolutely, terribly job on my nails. She wouldn't allow the dryer that is used for shellac, to dry for the full 60 seconds. So, that caused for rough bumps to arise on my nails. The worse part is that she cut my index finger, made it bleed, and even broke my nail! She offered, to put a tip on the nail that she broke and the finger that she cut me on. I said no. I do not wear acrylic nails. My natural nails are long and healthy. I asked for her, to give me a discount because I was in pain, and it burned. She only gave me 10.00 off. She wasn't remorseful about it and once I asked for the manager to receive my money back, she got even more defensive. I was trying to explain to the manager about what occurred and she continued to cut me off, while I was trying to explain.
I told the manager that I take pride in my nails and they look horrible. I'm a hand model and this is just horrible. The manager was nice enough to try and fix what was messed up. However, the damage was already done. I really, just wanted my money back. However, I didn't want to cause no more of a scene that was already created. I payed 60.00 for an awful job! My finger, is still bleeding, I have to wait until the nail grows back and I'm still in pain, because of it! The cut, is extremely deep! My nail just snapped, due to Rose's carelessness. The shellac shine, is non existent and it lacks luster. This was not worth 60.00I am still, so upset and I will never return to this location, again. So now, I have to walk around with a bloody and finger nail, while being in pain and the nails looking as if a child did them.
Here, at over a week later, these are my nails. Rose, drilled a whole layer of my nail bed off that they are sensitive when I wash my hands, they're raised, they're red, textured, and my nail bed is ruined. When I returned to get a refund, the manager, didn't have any compassion, as he still allowed Rose to be the technician to remove the polish from my nails. Neither one of them,...
Read moreSo I have been going here for a few years love it no problems. Today my nails when I left I noticed bubbles. I belive my nail tech knew because she kept painting over my nails I assume to hide the bubbles. Anyways I noticed and called because I was not satisfied with my service. The receptionist made an appointment with in the hour. Get there and I am telling Dominic I am not happy and want my nails repainted, he says sure. The tech begins to take off the polish on certain nails and complains about management and how they are charging more for acrylic but more time and how they are not making money and how the team is frustrated about the financial change and now no one wants to do acrylic because they are not making money. after the nail tech paints the 5 nails you can tell a huge difference in the polish application. I asked the tech can you please polish the other nails because they look different the tech said you need to ask Dominic he is the manager and we all already mad with him. So then I ask Dominic hey I just want to be a satisfied customer. What ever price I was quoted I paid because I paid as a loyal customer. Dominic said that wil have to cost you. I said excuse me. How would this cost me if you can tell the difference in my nail p polish? I said I have been coming her for years and I just want to be satisfied He said your right let me get the tech. Then comes back and says she can't she has to come home to her kids. But you can come back tomorrow. I said excuse me, mind you the nail tech has already told me they are all upset at him. So in my mind did she need to leave or was just telling him no because of the work issues. Regardless I didn't need ro suffer. I told Dominic I am going to leave a terrible review for how this situation was handled. He said ok and have a good night. Ps I have bubbles still on the...
