The absolute WORST experience and WORST customer service I have ever encountered. I needed my Xbox fixed. Apparently from the beginning to the end everyone in the Springfield, PA location lies and trips over their own stories to try and keep the lie going so they don't get caught. I called and explained what was wrong. Was told by the gentleman on the phone that it would be 90.00 and would take two weeks. I drop it off a week later. After two weeks I heard nothing. I called only to be told that they had to send it to their warehouse in Florida. It took them 4 days to even ship it and then another 10 days to get to Florida. 10 days to get to Florida???!!??? Even the worst courier service could do it faster then that. They told me it would takes 3-4 business days to fix it and then they should get it back within 5 days. Two weeks go by I call again. I was told it was on its way back still and should be there in a few days. I another week goes but and I hear nothing. I call again and was told that it has been there for a week and they tried to call me but I didn't answer. I don't answer numbers I don't know. They never once left a voicemail. I then asked how much I owe them. They tell me 150.00!!! I was quoted 90.00!! I asked them why I wasn't called and asked if paid 150.00 for the repair is something I was ok with and their response was insane! They claim that they have no communication with the center in Florida. They claim the center fixes it, ships it back to the store and tells them how much it costs. They then mark up and pass that cost on to the customer!!! I explained how that is the worst business practice ever and they agreed to let me pay the 90.00. I went the next day to pick it up and they told me it would be 150.00. I explained how I was told it would be 90.00 because that it what I was quoted and she refused to even listen. I asked her why they didn't call me before they repaired it and told me how much it was going to be and she said every time they called I hung up on them. 100% a lie and contradicts what I was told on the phone the next day. She told me the manager would be in the next day and I could take it up with her and started to bring my device back in to the back of the store. I paid the 150.00 because what choice did I have? I do not know if this is typical of all locations or just the Springfield, PA location but I will be reaching out to Ausrion to see if this is how they want their repair business...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE! THEY BROKE MY PHONE!
The techs damaged my phone, refused to take responsibility for it, and basically ignored me when I requested updates on their "work." I was left alone in the front of the store for hours at a time, ignored.
I had cracks in my iPhone SE screen. The phone was still usable and the screen clearly worked. The glass was just broken. When I brought the phone in for the work order the tech, Elijah, advised the phone had only cosmetic damage.
They put on a replacement LCD screen that immediately started flickering and having issues. I returned that same day and requested they fix it. The Tech I spoke to, Vincent, stated there was damage to the phone internally. When I pointed out that there was no flickering to my screen prior to their work, and that the previous tech said there was no damage he said he'd put a new screen on.
I later asked why they didn't catch the flickering before returning it to me. They said sometimes things only start happening when the devices leave the store. I don't believe that. I think they were just hoping I wouldn't bother them about it.
After returning, they disappeared to the back of the store for hours (literally hours. I was there from 3:15 to 6:15), coming out every so often when I called back requesting an update.
Finally, they admitted they could not get my phone screen to work any longer, but did not take responsibility for it. They could not answer for why the phone worked when I came in with it, but did not work after they had spent time with it out of my sight.
never once heard the words "i'm sorry" at any point during my HOURS at the store. I did hear dozens of excuses though.
I need my phone for 2FA to access my work environment. I will have to rearrange my entire week now to get a new phone, at a cost of several hundred dollars a minimum.
They were not even able to give me a refund for my initial service payment in store. They had to call their District Manager, Ashley Furillo, to issue the refund. This itself took over an hour.
When I finally received my refund confirmation it was less than the amount i'd paid. They shorted me on the refund! DO...
Read more(1) the needed (computer) repair was not made.
(2) "we should do it in 3-4 days" turned into 2 weeks, with ME having to contact THEM about the status. Thankfully this was not something I desperately needed.
(3) The tech did not read the problem description, which said "it's not the battery, because I changed that out with a new one and the problem persists." He told me he put in a new battery, and that didn't fix it. (duh.) This was all that had been done.
(4) He NOW (2 weeks in) says maybe he can try some other things and will get back to me that later that day in 3-4 hours. This turned into 3-4 days, at which time I received a message that they had tried one other thing, (replace a battery connector), which didn't work, same problem; and that it was maybe a motherboard problem, about which they couldn't do anything; and that maybe I should purchase their insurance "next time." They had put my new battery back in and it was ready for pickup. I pick up the computer.
I had (erroneously, I see) assumed that UBreakiFix, especially being "DelI certified," could do a somewhat more sophisticated diagnosis and repair process on the motherboard and other parts. If the extent of their capabilities is simply replacing modules in the hopes that some new one would work, then this should be publicly acknowledged and discussed at drop-off ! This was nothing more than could be done at home by a minimally tech-savy user with easily sourced parts !!
What was done was the work of 5-10 minutes, with no special tools and one part. Certainly not worth the $68.- "diagnostics" charge for an unsuccessful repair.
On top of two other previous phone repairs that were refused, (one of which I just ended up doing myself), -- this experience has left a pretty bad...
