Escape the Room Oregon — Attraction in Springfield

The game we played was a Halloween special that happened to be in the same room as another game we recently played. Kinda spoiled a couple secrets for 2 of our 4 party members. We played "The Other Side." IT WAS HARD!! This escape room has some VERY cool features!! The staff was actually the manager and was AWESOME! We needed a bunch of clues... 😬 He was happy to help! We made it out with 26? seconds to spare! Hard to find the building but definitely worth the game! If someone has mobility issues, be aware that the place is upstairs and there wasn't an elevator that I saw. We had a great time! The kids loved it and did much better than the adults! Our family has visited here twice, and although we failed miserably both times, we had a blast! The rooms are very well thought out and entertaining. We love that since we know we aren't great at this and just want to have fun and keep it casual, they accommodate by offering a ton of clues. Folks who want to be more competitive and get through it independently have that option too. After our time was up, they walked us through the steps we missed so we still got to see how it all came together.

This is my third time in an escape room. I absolutely love the concept of an escape room and I appreciate having difficult puzzles to solve. Thus, I was very excited to experience the bio lab escape room, but unforunately I must admit that my experience with escape the room was extremely disappointing. I felt that there were two puzzles in particular that were extremely unfair, and caused us to spend a large amount of time worrying about things that should have been specified beforehand.
