EDIT: Totally fair that the power went out and that's understandable. I'll reach out to your contact because the POS and voicemail (especially in this situation where i did call) are recurring issues. I appreciate your time and attention in the matter :) .
I used to really like this place. I was even in a fashion show that Heya sponsored so i tried to support their business. My experience today was just odd and - what makes it worse - was that it wasn't the first time. Like several others stated, the POS system didn't work as intended and calling sent you into a voicemail loop. I wasn't too aggravated because i had to stop at the Menards a few blocks away so i would swing by after. When i arrived at the Heya location, it looked dark but an OPEN sign was on. A man was smoking a cigarette by the door. I got out of the car and went to the front and the man clicked in. I went and pulled the doors and they were locked. Figuring that this man was on break (and somehow the only worker)and needed some time to get back into the store and unlock the doors, i waited 5 minutes. I pulled the door again with the same result. I walk back to my car and - as i put the key in and look back - the man comes back outside out of the side/employee entrance!!! I turn the car off and get back out and he scurried back in and pulled the door shut. I was flabbergasted and just left. Why would a dispensary be closed at 4:47pm on a Saturday?! While others have not mentioned that specific situation, others have mentioned the POS and the website reflecting inaccurate products. These issues happened to me as well on 7/6/2024. I know that cannabis is a burgeoning industry however, i think management may need to review their staffing, sales, and product policies and procedures to ensure that there aren't more negative reviews. Until that occurs, i simply cannot support...
Read morego literally anywhere else. I’ve avoided shopping here in general because of the prices and also in solidarity to all of the people that were let go at their other location and also all of the horrific things I have heard about the work environment from being in the industry myself (especially about the regional manager). Recently I broke my wrist and could not drive far so I was forced to shop here to get my medicine and god I have regretted it ever since. The product listed online was incorrect both in the quantity and the form of the product. I did not realize this until I got home as the budtender did not show me the products. Instead of the half gram cart I was supposed to get, I received a .3 gram disposable. I’ve had .3 gram disposables before but never have they ever died as quickly as this one with so little product coming out and I was disappointed and frankly, got ripped off. I understand that these things happen and it was likely a MERTC error but because their employees mass quit at this location (see above comment pertaining to the working conditions) the manager is never there and even after calling to verify that a manger was there ahead of time, I was STILL told to come back again later. When I came back later I was told I could not get any form of refund and they either would trade me for another one of the incorrect and defective products or I could take 20% off my purchase today… which is already my industry discount here and at other places. I spend $1,000 on cannabis a month and would love to shop here due to its proximity to my house but they can not run an ethical business if it killed ‘em. Check out natures med on Kingston or High Profile in sunset hills for a FAR better experience. It’s your medicine, you shouldn’t have to put up with...
Read moreI had a completely different experience at Heya Dispensary recently that completely changed my perspective. I had the pleasure of meeting one of their employees, Megan, who was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding. She knew about the review I had posted and took the time to explain how they had addressed the issues I had mentioned. Megan genuinely encouraged me to give Heya Dispensary another chance, and although I was initially hesitant, I decided to do so.
Instead of going straight back to Heya Dispensary, I decided to check out another dispensary across the street called Codes. However, I quickly realized that Codes was extremely expensive compared to Heya. So, I decided to give Heya another shot. One thing that stood out to me was their own product called Sublime, which offered something different from the usual options available in other dispensaries. It's refreshing to see a company that is willing to innovate and stand out.
During my second visit, Megan was once again patient and attentive, ensuring that I found exactly what I was looking for. I also noticed that the other employees at Heya were committed to providing excellent customer service and treating everyone equally. It's clear that they understand the importance of making every customer feel valued.
Overall, my experience at Heya Dispensary was a complete turnaround. They went above and beyond to address my concerns and make things right. I truly believe that with their dedication to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend giving them a try if you ever have any issues, as they are committed to ensuring customer...
