I have been going to mr. Nice guys for years now. I have been going there when they first opened in st cloud. I must say....wow they upcharge way too much. For instance an 8 stage bubble bag set (5gal) at nice guys was around 500 dollars...online you can get them for like 80? I'm all fine and dandy with mr. Nice guys upcharging to make their money but thts why u sell your artistic pipes for a lot of money or charge 2 bucks for a pack of flavored papers. Not only that in the last 3 yrs customer service has been getting worse and worse. I've asked questions and staff was unintelligent. Suggesting items solely on popularity vs best quality and durability. I told one worker they should carry the replacement tubes and instantly he told me it would be in efficient and tht stocking every accessory was stupid....I agree every accessory to every piece of equipment would be impossible due to space avalible. The worker told me is just be easier if I ordered it online. Me being annoyed I paid for a conversion piece 18mm to 14mm.(a piece of glass tht cost maybe 2 bucks to produce nice guys probably gets it at 8 bucks and they upcharge 20) i told the terrible staff member to to have the company keep the change so they can SAVE up to add on to the building and he flipped out..bad customer service. But if mr nice guys is an excellent company and really sold good quality products to their customers than they would know their products they sell. At a minimal they should have at least a couple replacement "accessories" that are easily broken but vital for the equipment to work. I am not saying the whole staff are underqualified but in the last 3 yrs I've had one good experience. They also sell vaporizers such as the airizer solo. Best vape I have ever owned and I own great desktop vapes. What they don't sell are any "accessories" such as replacement glass tubes....its a vaporizer with a glass mouthpiece tht comes out ever session. Why wouldn't u sell at the minimal the glass tubes...u can buy them for 15 to 20 bucks and sell them at 40 n guess wht i would buy it because if I broke my last tube id much rather pay 40 bucks and be able to use it that day vs paying 15 or 20 bucks and have to wait 4 or 5 days. Potential customers if you are wise: artistic pipes and bowls are worth the trip. : anything else its worth the trip to look at their stuff go online and purchase it their it'll be worth the wait paying half the price and not having to deal with their unhelpful staff
And typical they post up their top reviews which are clearly people who are new to smoking and the likes and believe...
Read moreI went in looking to buy a new piece. Upon walking in there was no greeting what so ever & I asked a question about one of their products and they responded in a rudely manner and being a customer that doesn’t really go to that store or know that product I genuinely was wondering what it is and he just responded like I should’ve known what it was. Even after I was talking around looking around for about 10-15 mins before anyone said anything. Both employees were down on their phones the whole time. Seemed like they didn’t care to help or sell any product or even ask what I was looking for or anything like that. Once I went out my way to ask these questions about a certain product the one employee was very helpful through that interaction which I then proceeded to buy the product. Within 15 mins of buying the product I got home and unwrapped the piece and it was broken. The stem piece was broken off. It looked like it could have been wrapped maybe to tight at that piece. I brought the piece back since I had the recipe and i figured it was honestly mistake about the wrapping. It wasn’t dropped or hit anything I don’t understand how the stem piece could have broken. The product was over 100 dollars and wasn’t even used and I just wanted another product or the same product of the same amount I just spent or my money back and the guy just kept saying how there was nothing he could do and that it wasn’t broken when he wrapped it. Which then brings the case that if Mr. Nice Guy doesn’t give exchanges or money back when it’s a situation like this you guys should have a sign in there saying you guys can’t do that. & They said there was nothing they could do about exchanging something for the same price of the piece I just bought broken was for. And the owner said all he could do was if I wanted to buy another product is that he could do 30 percent off but couldn’t do nothing about my current purchase. The store clerk was more set on saying it wasn’t broken when he wrapped then actually trying to help kept assuming it was dropped when was repeatedly told it wasn’t dropped and literally unwrapped the piece and the stem was broken on it. There was no customer service what so ever for an honest situation and no where in the store does it say you guys don’t do “exchanges or refunds”. I didn’t even want a refund. I just wanted...
Read moreAfter finding the place. I was greeted once walking in. Mike s. Was very informative and helpful, kind and respectful, good vibes. Any questions I had, he went above and beyond to educate me. I felt like I had a personal shopping assistant guide while looking at what the store has to offer. I left like a sponge filled with awesome info and feeling good having someone like that help me plan my future purchases. I know this is going to be my go to store for my future needs from now on. I love that I am not hit in the face with the strong smell of incense as soon as I walk in, like every other head shop. This is the ONLY one with a clean atmosphere and clean papers that don’t have incense smell and taste leeched into them. I will always get my papers here from now on. Especially the 100 pack of raw 1 1/4 cones. Im chillen with some zig zag cones to try out. They burn fast and a little uneven. I will probably stick with raw, but was nice to try somethin new. Big seed selection. Although might be cheaper online, but still nice to have something local, and no shipping costs, or shady websites. And you can talk in person about all the strains ect so you get that part of it too unlike buying online. Sad to see all the flower gone, even when it is legal in Mn, I guess regulation is what it is. Lots of glass for all kinds of styles colors and functionality. I was looking at bangers and other rigs. Some decent quality quartz bangers, within reasonable price, but all 14mm male, so limited fittings, would be nice to see more banger attachments, tubing styles, angles, male and female sizes, more variety.
Prices are slightly high, but reasonable and you can find something in price range for sure, not everything is spendy. Katana touch is...
