Great Dragon Buffet — Restaurant in St. Cloud

me and my friend have been going to this location for years— it has always been a wonderful experience, nice staff, delicious food, lovely atmosphere. but something about it today was not right AT ALL. we got to-go, and we ordered what we normally do, the crab wontons, egg rolls, vegetable lo mein, general tso chicken, and a few other things. we enjoyed our first box of the wontons mixed with the sugar donuts, and then we opened the second one and filled our plates, we already were weary about it because they substituted the lo mein noodles for fettuccine and it didn’t look the greatest but we wanted to try. i had rice and general tso and it tasted great— but my friend bit into her egg roll and immediately knew something was wrong with it, she had to spit it out and actually ended up throwing up. as she got up to puke i opened up the second egg roll and it did not look like it should’ve, the meat was red looking and it did not smell good at all, like it had some sort of stench, and after my friend was able to compose herself she explained that it tasted absolutely rancid. the rest of the food was pretty bland except for the wontons, broccoli, general tso chicken, and the sauces. for the first time in YEARS this is the first time we’ve had a terrible experience with them, and it’s crazy because just a few weeks ago we went there and it was great! and the noodles were actually lo mein noodles. this experience was enough to make us not really want to come back, and if we do it won’t be for...

I have ordered from this place for over seven years, and have had mostly good experiences. The owner is becoming greedy and wealthy, dismissing customer complaints and customers as if they are easily replaced. In the past year, have received orders that were messed up..one time the food took an hour and a half for delivery and was cold on arrival (total cost: $40.00) the owner refused to provide any discounts or comps as if it was my fault for buying. Another time, we ordered as shrimp dish and received a total of four shrimp in 3 patties. Once again, the owner refused to make good. Today, tried to order and the owner decided that after seven years of business with him, at the average cost of 40.00 per order, that we were not welcome to order from him. Please be aware that there is no respect for repeat customers here from the owner, and do not give greedy, disrespectful business owners ...

We went for the dinner buffet at 7pm, which is a bit after the dinner rush, but that's no excuse. The buffet was almost empty, and that which was left was almost inedible.

The General Tso tasted more like barbeque sauce and had the tiniest pieces of chicken. I'm not even sure if there was chicken in there--it probably was just deep fried bread that was super chewy. The yakitori (or chicken on a stick, whatever it's called) had a strange ginger coating on it with red dye... it was weird. Edible, but weird.

The desserts were really gross--Jello, pudding, and nasty cream puffs with mystery filling. The eggrolls and potstickers were the only thing worth eating.

It's super expensive, too! About $10/person! Just go to Chipotle.

We went because we saw it was popular. I'm more convinced than ever that people are just ignorant to what good food tastes...
