Kuts by Kurtis — Attraction in St. Louis

I recently moved to the south and found this shop online the reviews were good so I decided to give it a try. My barber name was Richard and he was good really fast and had great work he made me feel really comfortable. I had been going to this place for a couple months when one day I had the most horrible experience ever. It was a busy Saturday afternoon when I came to get a haircut the wait was not long because my barber chair was empty I was thinking this was going to be a good day. Not long after getting in the chair the topic of the shop was about gay people and their lifestyle and how they didn’t respect or understand it. Several men in the shop talked about it and even one barber commented that my daughter better not ever date a lesbian.I felt like this wasn’t the place to be talking about how 6 men including the owner did not understand nor agree with gays. I choose to be quiet because I didn’t have the energy to say anything I just wanted a hair cut . I left the shop feeling uncomfortable, disrespected and annoyed that they would have this discussion in a business setting. Went to get my sons hair cut here before for the first time and they guy was patient with my son because my son was scared. The second time I went it was someone else that did it and he was entirely unprofessional. My son is 3 years old. The entire time he kept telling me I should wait till he’s older to get his hair cut, was getting upset Bc my son wouldn’t be still and told my 3 year old you have to be still and calm down because you starting to piss me off.
