My Lenovo laptop computer broke at the hinges. The screen was literally hanging off the hinge on one side. I was sure I was going to need a new computer. I found Carmen on Thumbtack. He contacted me within 2 minutes of requesting assistance and looked at my laptop within an hour...as fast as I could drive it to his shop in St. Matthews. Carmen was able to overnight parts for my laptop and have it back in my hands in 48 hours. He also updated my anti-virus software, deleted malware and unnecessary programs, got rid of the annoying McAfee pop-up I've had to watch for three years, and educated me on how to care for my laptop to make it last longer. I thought he did such a great job, I walked through the door to pick up my computer and brought a friend with her broken computer! I highly recommend Carmen. Oh where to start, I contacted Carmin from Firestarter and within 2 min he called me back and arranged for me to meet him at his office. I forgot to mention that he opened his business on a Sunday no less which I really appreciated. He took the time to review my computer and tell me exactly what was wrong, how much it was going to cost and gave me an itemized list of what he was going to do. He had my computer and he was able to fix what was wrong and transfer the data from my old computer to my new one. Professional, caring, serious about his craft and rest easy very trustworthy. I would not for one second doubt recommending Firestarter Electronics for any and all of your computer needs. Carmin is a rare gem and they dont come around that often.

We had our 12 year old dryer serviced by Carmen. I had never had an appliance serviced-- so really didn't know who to contact. He had strong/recent reviews on Thumbtack and so I connected that way. He's very responsive, professional and OUR DRYER HASN'T WORKED THIS WELL IN YEARS!

He really took the time to explain what and why he was doing what he was doing and thoroughly cleaned the inside of the dryer of all the lint and debris.

The prices were extremely reasonable and I am happily doing laundry again!
