i honestly really wanted to love PYP because they’re well priced and convenient, but unfortunately this is not the case. i did a number of their reformer pilates classes, which i’ve been doing for years at other studios, and this one was just bad. the instructor would consistently talk about how us “younger girls” would know real strength once we had children, or that we would be thanking her for the moves she had us doing while eventually birthing a child. these were only a few of many similar comments, which all made me incredibly uncomfortable considering i’m only 23, and it was a 7:30am pilates class. she also one time switched my springs and told me im “probably not as strong as i thought” which i actually laughed out loud at because what kind of workout instructor says that? what really convinced me to stop going on top of the things i’ve already mentioned, was the instructor would push my body to have me in the right position on the reformer which is usually okay and appreciated, but she would forcefully push my legs, neck, arms, etc. which is painful and also dangerous when standing on a moving reformer. it got to the point where i’d be nervous if she’d look at me cause i know she’d either come shove me around or make some weird comment about me being weak for one reason or another. anyway, i tried to reach out to the studio for a refund on the few classes in my pack that i will not be using but did not ever hear back. i’d understand if maybe that goes against their policy, but a reply telling me so would have been...

Former NFL quarterback, Roger Staubach said, “There are no traffic jams along the extra mile.” The PYP studio goes the extra mile...
