Wish I could give 0 stars. My aunt and I were looking for a reasonably priced pageant dress for me because I was going to be in a pageant the next weekend. We called the store and asked the young lady if they had any clearance or sale dresses. She said that they did, they were located upstairs. As soon as we arrived, though, we were met with an unpleasant woman whose snobbishness was thinly veiled and quite obvious. She let us know that they has absolutely no clearance dresses, and when we asked her if they had any sale dresses upstairs, she said that they didn't have any dresses upstairs, and that all of their dresses were downstairs. We thought this was strange, but assuming perhaps they were all mixed in, we helped ourselves to the racks. We soon saw that the only dresses remotely pretty were about $700+. I wasn't looking to throw that kind of money away on a dress that I just kind of liked. We were approached a couple of times by unprofessionally dressed girls who seemed sort of reluctant to help us, so we declined their help. After a while, though, we realized there was nothing within our price range on the racks and we asked a young girl if they had any clearance dresses. She was a bit more helpful and said that they did and they were upstairs. Unfortunately, though, we had to be accompanied upstairs by the rude woman who tried to hide the existence of it in the first place. When we arrived upstairs we saw that it was a sort of boutique with clothes and clearance dresses. There were two very nice ladies working up there, but still the rude woman overstayed her welcome and tried pushing ugly dresses on me. I politely declined and eventually I think she understood that we were tired of her presence and she left. I found nothing at all in their dresses, though it isn't likely I would've bought one of them anyway. Overall, my experience was terrible. I don't appreciate people looking down their noses at me, especially not when I'm a customer in their store. After leaving, I couldn't help but feel incredibly violated. I will never, never return. On a lighter note, though, I did find a gorgeous dress on consignment at Madame Couture's (just down the road) for $200. I would highly recommend Madame Couture's or De Ja Vu (both of which are on the same road), they have much prettier dresses, are reasonably priced, and their workers are super nice...
Read moreDon't waste your time if you are larger than a size 10 or 12 when you are shopping for a Bridal gown. I was so disappointed when I showed up for my appointment. I was led upstairs by a young girl wearing very short shorts which I found very unprofessional !! I was told I could jot down the dress numbers that I wanted to try while I waited on my consultant who would be there in just a few minutes. After browsing the dresses I quickly realized I wouldn't be able to try any of them on. I waited for about 30 minutes on the consultant to show up, keep in mind a bridal appointment is only one hour !!! I finally told the young girl at the counter that I didn't think they had anything I would be able to try on. She just said "Ok ! Have a good day !" There was no apology nor did she ask if there was anyway she could help me. I found the whole visit to be very unprofessional and I was very discouraged when I left there as a bride. What is supposed to be one of the happiest times in your life.... Well Frills was the only vendor I have had contact with during this whole process that has left a dark spot on that experience. If you want to have a great experience and feel like you aren't being looked down on then go to J'Adore in Statesboro. The girls there are so down to earth and make you feel really special no matter what dress size you are. They take their time with you and have a large selection of dresses in every size and style. I will not recommend this store to anyone. If I were the owner I would be very concerned with the customer service my store employees were offering. Without satisfied customers and referrals from those customers a business...
Read moreOkay so I'm 18 years old and black and i wanted to find a prom dress. Me and my family went in there and first thing i noticed is a lot of white people (not being racist but keep that in mind). So I'm like cool no big deal at all however the manager saw me and from the time she said hello she was rude! She gave me one black girl and she was helping me out; however, the girl is being negative about the store the whole time. Like she said i should just go online or go to another store and I'm like what in the world! So I'm trying on stuff and when i come out customers and employees are stepping all over my dress without saying excuse me. At this point I'm ready to go. So i go to my grandma and show her my dresses and she tells me that one of the employees said to my grandma,“ you got the best seat in the house, you can be holding thoses white people's babies." Now if you're from the south you know black old people used to "nanny" the rich white people's kids back in the day. When the employee said that that's what she was referring to and it pissed my whole family off. I took off my dress and and i stormed out and while i was storming out the manager is telling everyone goodbye and have a nice day but immediately when she saw my family she looked away and pretended we were invisible. To make the long story short: The store is unorganized , disrespectful, doesn't have any new dresses for spring, and a little racist! WILL NVER RETURN! Don't go if you're...
