The Yampa river botanical park has more than 500 trees and 63 gardens. It's really commendable that in mountainous region to make the soil fertile and ensure very exclusive and unique coloured and variety of flowers can be seen by one. And all visiting the park There is ample parking and well-manicured pathways, leading to a very nice thrill with beautiful rock gardens, children's park, a small lake and a very interesting spread, pine trees. It is a free entry. I am commendable that the park works on donations, which are having different levels. Starting from $100 at entry level, we laughed every bit of creation as the spark is an Oasis, the design avoids straight lines. The pathways are twisted and turned, and the gardens give 3D. Effects The youths to be seen with a cluster of trees surrounding the lakes. Very interesting visit apple parking and restrooms available in the park must visit when visiting steamboard springs, very beautiful visit. Lastly, very impressed with the mission of the park, saying, it's a place of serenity, celebrating the trees, shrubs, plants and birds of the...

Yampa River Botanic Park is a hidden gem that seamlessly blends natural beauty with serene activities, making it a must-visit destination in Steamboat Springs. As an avid bird watcher,“I was thrilled to explore the park’s diverse habitats, from lush wetlands to vibrant wildflower meadows, which attract an impressive variety of bird species. I spotted colorful Western Tanagers and heard the distinctive calls of Red-winged Blackbirds while strolling the peaceful trails—binoculars in hand, I felt completely immersed in nature’s symphony.

The park’s tranquil setting also makes it a perfect spot for yoga. I joined a morning yoga session on the lawn, surrounded by blooming gardens and the gentle flow of the Yampa River. The instructor was welcoming, and the practice left me feeling rejuvenated, with the fresh mountain air and scenic views enhancing every pose. Whether you’re a birder, a yogi, or simply seeking a quiet escape, Yampa River Botanic Park offers an unforgettable experience that celebrates the harmony of nature and wellness. I can’t...

We’re in Steamboat every year in winter to ski but this year we visited in August, also. The secret, wonderful gem of Steamboat is the Yampa River Botanic Park, and this is from someone who is a gardener and has visited many public and private gardens. Obviously, the time we visited the garden was at its peak, so absolutely gorgeous. But I have never seen such a large garden so well-maintained and cared for by a group of volunteers who have to absolutely love this place. If you’re in Steamboat when walking through a garden is realistic, it’s a must-see. Doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced gardener, a novice or just someone who appreciates beautiful spaces. This was the highlight of our trip, that and meeting Jeff, a volunteer in the gardens for the...
