I have to give this more than a couple stars. I do not know why the city has decided to build so much on the mountains outside of the monetary reasons. Steamboat in general is not similar to Telluride or Ouray untouched land. However, with some photoshop magic or the right angles you can get photos of this without someone’s condo in the background. I wanted to honor this place and it’s vibrant history by giving it a higher rating. The only reason that it is not a 5-Star is that the some of the abundance of wealth in Steamboat needs to go towards preservation and upkeep of the grounds.
