This museum is a disappointment. A week or so ago they posted a Facebook status about guessing âwhat broke nowâ at their museum. At least a dozen folks agreed the status was placing blame. All of my comments were deleted even tho I was not disrespectful. There was no âwe made a mistake in our wordingâ type of thing.
Since engaging with them on social media I thought why not visit? Lo and behold of course on Facebook in their about section they are posted on open and also on Google. But they have a âclosed to the publicâ sign outside the door. I was immediately informed âGoogle doesnât work to change the hoursâ DESPITE a past worker there confirming w me that they always changed their hours on Google when needed but also never did birthday parties during open hours anyways.
A disappointed family from Wausau then came jogging out the door looking pissed and I asked them if they tried to go too. Yes, they had. They were upset too because WHO CHECKS A PERSONAL FACEBOOK PAGE status before going to a business - which is the only place they posted this event.

There's been nothing better over these years than going to the museum and knowing that, whether it be painting, grocery shopping, playing vet, or climbing the rock wall, we will be engaged and stimulated for as long as we care to stay. Really grateful to have CWCM in...

The kids can wear shoes in 90% of the place, which is awesome. It is on the second floor, but the elevator to get there has a keyboard and other buttons to play with. I didn't use the bathrooms, but they do have them. No food is allowed due to potential allergies. Employees were AMAZING! Super sweet, patient, and...
