The Big Garlic — Restaurant in Stevens Point

No expectations.....yet the trip is more then worth it. Professionals get you familiar with the setup of ordering, which is fun and interesting. Fresh chips made daily is a "no-brainer" and that helps since I'm not the smartest in the room by a longshot, lol. Plant based options with micro greens are a step beyond what is typical without question. Then there is Point Rootbeer.....where to begin?? I am a fan of top shelf rootbeer and this is THAT hands down. Real sugar.....just changes the day for those who are aware....just putting it out there. The burger I got was something that slowed down my day and made me just....I don't know....take a moment to "be in the moment." The hotdog option is next on the list. Not sure if offered, but "Chicago Style" will be my request.... fingers crossed if it can be a reality. Only thing that was not present was I've cream for a rootbeer float😮‍💨. Sometimes one can simply not have it all....😏. "Great Job" to The Big Garlic Group for making my first visit something to write about. 🧭 (In Addition) Partner with "Belts" so the culture & landscape can continue to win big. I'm sure established mainstays such as Point Brewery, Belts' Soft Serve Stevens Point "Home of the Large Cone", etc will be glad to lend a hand for a local "State of Mind" like The Big Garlic.....just...

After work is done at 11pm on the weekends there is usually no place to go out to eat for me -until I was taken to The Big Garlic tonight!

Food and service was top notch! I can't believe I haven't been here before! Small dining area (like 6 or 7 tables) but I would say it's worth it to eat in to get the food when it's perfectly hot! I also saw door dash orders coming in so you can order out!

This place is behind Galaxy : Comic's, Games and More! Needs a bit more signage in the future - that is my only critique!

We got ; The Grim Feast , The Double Tap(dbl chz burger), Chili Cheese Fries and The CCD(chili cheese dog- HUGE DOG BTW)all with the house made chips with different seasoning and we have no complaints! Nada!

My favorite : The Grim Feast (the bbq pork/jalapeño popper sandwich) was PHENOMENAL. Would HIGHLY recommend the pork. I'm excited to try more!

Matt working the place was kind, attentive and friendly/silly - all which I fully love and appreciate as a customer service worker for 25+ years. The music was louder but we were asked right away if we wanted it lower(and we did not !) and again it is appreciated for asking!

All praise to The Big Garlic! Can't wait to try the whole menu! My friends and I had a fabulous time and will 100%...

The Big Garlic, wow, what an amazing addition to the downtown point area. Once you find the granite parking lot, the door is near. Today was my first visit, definitely not my last. Tony and his staff welcomed me with a friendly smile and pointed out the kiosk to use for ordering or I could have ordered through the website using a QR code posted on the wall.

When you go to Big Garlic for the first time, I feel the menu should only have one item, the big garlic burger. Then you get hooked and want to go back for more. I had the big garlic and chips, the burger was hot and tasty. The chips were seasoned with a little bit of a spicy flavor but not overwhelming.

The restaurant is clean with a good noise level. I counted 5 tables for inside dining. The park is close by with picnic tables for a nice lunch by the water.

The order was prepared quickly, but not immediately, it takes time for a great flavored burger to come off the grill.
