Backstage Stillwater — Attraction in Stillwater

We just held our 10 year SHS reunion here and it was fantastic! Marsha was a joy to work with and was very understanding in the face of our planning ineptitude. The cost was extremely reasonable and there were few restrictions on things like outside food & drink.

The venue itself has an eclectic mix of decor but it works well together and provides interesting visual distractions for bored party guests. It's made up of several rooms, there's a main foyer that adjoins to several smaller rooms and bathrooms, and the main reception area which has plenty of space for seated guests. The flow was good for spreading people out and allowing people to chat in party areas or more intimate, quieter settings.

Overall, I'd gladly host other events here and think it's a great pick for events like birthdays, retirements, and obviously reunions. Maybe not date parties, but that's what...

My wife and I found Backstage on accident while searching for wedding reception venues in/near Stillwater. The vibe of the space fit our wedding perfectly, and we hardly had to do any decorating since the space is gorgeous and artsy all on its own! Marsha was awesome to work with and was always super responsive when we had questions about the space or day-of logistics. She was really accommodating of the adjustments we wanted to make to the space and coordinated logistics with our vendors so we wouldn't have to worry about anything the day of our wedding.

Backstage was a tremendous venue for our event of about 85 people. Marsha and Karen were so accomodating to us and our caterer, making set up and breakdown very easy. The artwork makes the space inviting and I could envision all variations of events there.
