We unknowingly came in a few minutes before close. We were greeted with hesitation. The server asked us what we wanted to drink. We get our drinks. In the process of reading our menus, I overhear employees loudly talking about managing their anger issues. I don’t think much of it, I think it’s probably small talk about some personal problems. I perk up whenever I hear one of the employees talking about a stupid rule. An employee rushes by us and turns the open sign off. My partner and I didn’t order. It was pretty obvious we upset everyone and decided to just leave instead. I wish they would’ve turned the sign off so we didn’t have to hear them talk poorly about people being dumb (us) and rules being dumb. I didn’t want to burden them so I thought it would be best if we left. I understand being upset about people coming in before close, but everyone around us was speaking negatively and aggressively the moment they weren’t immediately around us. Probably stayed 5 minutes before I connected the dots. Sorry guys. Left me feeling...
Read moreThe waitstaff is always wonderful here. I have returned many times simply for the friendly staff and have been content with the food at its price. Over the last 2-2.5 years though it has gone down hill. Their prices have jumped up, drinks are never included in a meal (so add $2.50 per drink), cheese is an additional $0.60, and even a charge to add ranch to your burger (please just wait, they will give you a whole bottle of the stuff and you can save $0.50). Quality? It's a diner. The food weeps grease and there is a microwave in the kitchen. I don't think they have a proper dishwasher either. Wether you are thinking of a machine or a person, I don't think they have either. The food tastes good, but if you have a sensitive stomach, any stomach/digestive problems, or are getting up in age, then I can't suggest it. Lastly, ALWAYS TIP! They tip share so your tip is split between the...
Read moreI took my family of 5 here today. When we entered there was a group of tables pushed together (24-seat tables and 1 2-seat table) just inside the front door. There were 2 men sitting at one end of this table. The only other seating were 2-seat tables and 4-seat tables. We decided to split the group of tables about 10 inches to separate our family from the men. The staff became upset and said we could not move tables because that would block the walkway. The offered to place a chair at the end of one of the 4-seat tables to accommodate our family of 5. Somehow blocking the walkway with a person and a chair makes more sense than giving us a 10 inch separation from two adult men. The food here is usually ok, today we had to ask for items that we ordered that they forgot. The price is average. I do not think we will be back after...
