Stillwater Public Library — Attraction in Stillwater

Stillwater Public Library has an excellent staff! They have a new librarian now and she is efficient and takes feedback from public! The front desk staff is very helpful and you can ask them the item you are searching. They offer timely service. The adult reference librarian section staff will help you print stuff, also. I don't use children's library section. However, they post videos of welcome songs, singing, and happy videos that are educational for little kids. Kids are always happy in that section. There is probably need for bigger library space. It is still a nice size library for Stilly. More space in near future will certainly help public. I wish SPL more funding in times of pandemic. SPL offers friendly, safe, clean area for public. Thank you SPL!

This library has bed bugs. Where most libraries will close and have the facility chemically/heat treated to eradicate the infestation, I have heard from employees that they attempt to spot treat…which does nothing. It is a shame, but I cannot risk bringing them home and no longer visit this library.

Edit: Current employees have told me about the infestation. Either they were lying, or you are inept at keeping them hushed. Why would anyone lie about such a thing? I find it exceptionally comical to find that someone who runs a library cannot read or spell. My name is literally printed on the screen, and you still couldn’t figure out how to spell it. I've mostly lived in bigger cities with huge libraries so this one seems a little small but for its size, it's not bad. It was easy to get a library card and you can check out several items at once. There's computers and printers available and a large children's section. The employees I talked to were helpful and friendly. They have "projects" you can check out that look fun such as computer building, learning to play the xylophone, etc. It comes with the parts and instructions and you take it home to learn hands-on. There wasn't really anything I didn't like about the library but I didn't give it 5 stars because I've seen other libraries with...
