A Phenomenal job trueing my very custom $250 built rear rim on such short notice & in a short days time! My 26" wheel with Bmx sized axle, 48 count with 12 gauge spokes all tensioner 99%-100% to satisfactory after taking out a slight bend. They oiled the spoke threads also for me & even threw in removal of my freewheel. Also for my experience, I can not believe it was low cost for me for the quality of service. I had to travel out of town, & was greeted in shop to understand my problem. I was told to bring it in if any issues are noticed. Hurray! My own shop could never do this quality of work for me & kept turning me away, & the last wheel put my life at risk on road from over tensioning & improper notice to stress cracks wich broke the wheel quickly. Distric did a excellent job, it looks & feels perfect to what's possible. The service of this shop was great & friendly even while i called to ask about a update. They have my business for future reference.
Update: had to bring wheel in again, but they made sure to give the thick gauge spokes more tension as needed. Great...

Lots of bikes, accessories, places too sit, a bar to watch repairs at work, good music... What they couldn't borrow from elsewhere are the people. There's an enthusiasm, even glee, about doing what they do.

When you buy a new bike, you get a "new bike day" photo, featuring you, your bike, the staff, and Austin creatively photo bombing somewhere in the background. (Creepily peering out of a barrel, rolling sushi, laying on the ground boudoir photo style... it's different every time.)
New costumers are treated like they have an open invite to join this not-clique of people who just like to ride bikes.
Also, they can sell, adjust, and repair bikes. They have wisdom for buying a bike for your kid. They can help you figure out what the right...
Read moreI walked in on a rainy Saturday afternoon and had the chance to hang out and talk to the owners and employees. When you walk inside District Bicycles you are greeted with smiling faces and the slight smell of tires. The exposed brick interior is reminiscent of a rustic studio apartment and the huge glass windows let you view Stillwater Summit Co. across the street. Bikes line the perimeter of half the store, everything from kids bikes to mountain bikes to gravel and road bikes. Seated around the bar, you can find people drinking coffee, whisky, or craft beer depending on the time of day. Behind the bar is a state of the art bike repair shop with enough tools to assemble, disassemble, or work on just about anything. The other half of the building has clothes, shoes, and other bike accessories such as specialty tools for your at-home mechanic. Bobby, Crystal, Tyler, Austin, Seth, and Bailey are super skilled and friendly. 10/10...
