I stopped in to the store to inquire about the possibility of combining two pieces of jewelry in some way. My husband and I had commissioned two pieces of jewelry representing the yin/yang of our lives….he passed away earlier this year and I wanted to have the two combined in some way. We had both pendants and wedding rings done in that same style. I was explained that in order to put our rings put together, the process may alter in some way the appearance of the rings….time was taken to explain the process for which I am very grateful. I have received gifts that were purchased from Gary J Long Jewelers since the 1980's. This store always has beautiful pieces to choose from and their service is outstanding. Not just when they are helping you choose a piece to purchase, either. I recently took my 5 carat wedding ring in to be cleaned. It also needed a couple of teeny, tiny stones that had fallen out of the setting. When I picked it up, it was absolutely gorgeous, just like new, with the stones being replaced and sparkling! When we took my ring back to the original jeweler we bought it from, they had replaced the stones once before but they were not the right size and not only did they fall out again but they didn't look right to begin with. When I walked in to Gary J Long Jewelers, I was greeted like family. I was there with my sister in law who was recently engaged and we both needed rings sized. They already knew who she was and why we were there. She quickly helped us out and let us know she would call when they were finished. I even changed my mind and decided to have more than one ring sized that day and it was not a problem at all. My 7 year old rings were resized and brought out looking brand new in less than 2 hours!
