Great experience! Highly recommend! I had two, large, high-quality signed and numbered prints from an artist friend that I wanted framed. I had an idea of what I wanted. Alan took the time to demonstrate what my idea would look like, and then demonstrated some ideas he had. No judgement was made on my idea, but there is a reason he does this for a living and I do not! I went with Alan's ideas and the results were incredible. My friend, whose work was the subject of the framing work, was very impressed and appreciated Alan's eye for pulling tones from the work and reflecting those in the framing. Stumbled upon Woodland walking to a show at Stoughton Opera House and saw a piece in the window that intrigued us, so we went back the next day. This is a cooperative gallery of artists from around Wisconsin, the Midwest and beyond. It is a very thoughtfully curated collection, and while not all the artists were our speed, many of them were, and all are talented, working in a variety of media. There is sculpture, painted and drawn works, woodworks, furniture, fused glass, blown glass, jewelry and many more. Alan was a great host and new the details on all the artists and all the works. Recently, my husband and I were gifted a watercolor painting of us at our wedding from a dear friend. We put off framing it for a while because we were nervous about the process.
