Livsreise - Norwegian Heritage Center — Attraction in Stoughton

It is a very cool Museum to attend even if you're not Norwegian. Being my family is of Norwegian descendant I found it even more invigorating to find out how Norwegians migrated across the Atlantic Ocean and how they came to settle in a town that was settled by a man named Luke Stoughton who is the descendant of stoughton's that team across the Atlantic on the Mayflower. Beautifully displayed artifacts and interactive computer touch screens that tell amazing stories of courage, hardship and determination as the Norwegians immigrated to this country. The building is lovely, clean and spacious. Many items on display came from Little Norway. We were greeted by a friendly, helpful receptionist who got us started on our exploration of the exhibits. Can't believe it's free....

Amazing exhibits and interactive displays. Seems to be well funded and have regular events. However, the one negative review is somewhat accurate. The volunteer who greeted us was very enthusiastic and didn't get the hint that we wanted to check out the museum instead of listening to her personal stories.
