Did you ever find a bakery? That was just so good that youād even drive 20 miles to go to it?!š¤Ŗš OK well this is one of those. This is located in Stoughton right on the main drag. If youāre coming into town from Madison itāll be on your right hand side somewhat around division Street. You canāt miss it. Itās small, but you can find it thereās plenty of side street parking and there is also a parking lot in the back.
I am telling you I am very particular, but I love desserts and I love a good bakery . This is not a huge bakery who cares itās really that good. I liked everything I bought my daughter and I these two beautiful cupcakes with these flowers on top. It look like 20 little tulips. Oh my gosh, the prices are fair and the food is fantastic and the staff is great. Everything is fresh and the donuts if you are a real real donut fan You will love their donuts because I am and Iām very particular have fun and while youāre there thereās great little shops on both sides there so you could make it a day even or you know with your take the family there you could do that or you could just go by yourself either way itās really nice. Stoughton is a beautiful community And you could even take your fishing pole and go down to the little river down there and fish just come for the bakery oh by the way they have a lady there that does amazing design so if youāre gonna be having a gourmet party or even just a casual one check with them about that Iām telling you those cupcakes they made for Motherās Day and the Motherās Day cookieswere amazing with roses on them and they were so delicious. Iām going back next year for...

2023 update: will defintely be going there today as the town celebrates Syttende Mai ā¤ļø And again, my family has 5 generations of people who are absolutely in love with Fosdals. When I took my child's father there 2yrs ago, even he said it had the best Donuts he's ever had in his life. He was 36 at the time.
Post from 2021: I've loved this place for as long as I can remember. My first memory of this place was when I was 4yrs old and my mom would take us early in the morning before dropping us off at my grandma's so she could work. This place has stayed consistent with amazing service, food, and coffee. Their donuts put everyone else's to shame. My favorite is the peanut butter long John. Continuing the tradition today and brought my almost 5yr old son there today. He loved it. My mom used to go there as a kid, and I believe my grandmother as well, at least in her teenage years, she was born in the 40s. ā¤ā¤ā¤ā¤ love love love love this place and will always highly recommend it. Plan on ordering a cake for my sons golden birthday...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am experienced in the world of the small town cafe, and I hate to be "that person" (as we all do), but genuinely, I've not been so disappointed at a coffee joint in quite some time. The girl helping me didn't know whether they sold True coffee, when in fact the is a sign directly behind her that says they do! Then, when I expressed interest in purchasing some, she was going to put it into a paper bag intended for donuts and pastries (instead of the advertised tin), and she told me she didn't know how to grind coffee... then i noticed the selection of coffee was weak. One dark roast, one medium, and one decaf. I was extremely excited to buy one of my favorite roasts and bring it home for use in my cold brew kit and for regular coffee, but I asked her to skip it regardless. I got a scone and a medium roast Gold Star Pacific Island Blend to go, and upon taking my first bite, I realized that my scone was black and burnt on the bottom. Today is already a terrible day for me, but this visit sure didn't help. I've been here twice before for a donut run, and I've not ever been disappointed with that. Go for...
