Dairyland Dessert Cafe — Restaurant in Stoughton

I visited Saturday evening. I was visiting from out of town and my friend wanted to intrude to a local establishment that she had heard so much about. We ordered Peach kuken and chai mouse. The peach kuken crust wasn’t cooked thoroughly and the chai mouse tasted like pumpkin. We brought the uncooked kuken to the attention of the server and she simply said it’s shortbread and the peaches made it soft. There was no empathy or effort to make things right for us. Tried 3 of their cheese cakes.

Best by far was the lingonberry with lemon curd center. Honestly i didn't get much lingonberry but the tartness of the curd paired perfectly with the rich cheesecake.

In a close second was the strawberry rhubarb cheesecake. I would definitely get that again.

While a distant third, but not bad by any means was the chocolate with blueberry filling. I would be happy if it was the only one I got but compared to the other two it kinda missed the mark in flavor combinations.

Super friendly service and cute place. Definitely worth a trip. I hope...

Amazing to have another spot open later or as late as us, that way I have somewhere to go and get a treat if I'm not ready to go home when I close up! I have yet to try anything that isn't just pure glory and bliss, and I've had at least three different kinds of cheesecakes, a peanut butter chocolate creme cookie thing that was stupid good, a chocolate cake with Italian custard, and the pavlov-ahhhh 🤣 -- YUM! Everything incredible.
