Stratford Crossing — Attraction in Stratford

stratford crossing shopping center houses a walmart, a home depot and a shoprite. i frequent the walmart often. i wish it was a supercenter, but it's just a regular one. so you can't get fresh produce or fresh meat, etc. just the basic shelf groceries. this walmart is probably one of the better ones in the fairfield county area. i used to hate going to the one in norwalk just b/c of the traffic that seems inevitable. the home depot is pretty big, like most HD's. hard to find help most times, or other times you get more help than you need! it's hit or miss with this store - any location really! but they are always pretty busy. then the shoprite is inbetwix the two. i think it's a rather small shoprite, but i'm used to the one in milford which is amazing. everything here seems small and the entire shopping center could use an update, but all in all, you will leave with what you want. it's easy on and off i95 to and from south. but (and maybe it's just b/c i don't know stratford that well), when i'm coming form NB, there's no exit 33 so i get off 34 and have to drive thru town to get there. there's a lot of construction going on near i95 exit, and i'm wondering if they are building a new ramp to make it easier. that...

Went to Home Depot to order kitchen counter, cabinets and refrigerator; supposed to be delivered on Tuesday but.....the driver "called" 3x & went back to store. The woman that called said we weren't home to accept (delivery between 6am - 8pm), and I told her I've been watching and the driver never came. Oh, so sorry she said, he didn't have help. IF you're going to shop there, make sure the driver has a helper for heavy items and they don't lie about coming. Should've gone to Lowes and paid a little more....

What I love about this shopping plaza is that you can get a lot done in this one place. Home Depot shoppe right and Walmart all in one area. And if your not from the area you wouldn't know that the dock shopping center is right across the street. The dock has even more to offer.

With a dentist office pizza shop wine store Popeyes chipotle super stop and shop bjs and gas station all within minutes of each other

There is so much to do and see all with easy access...
