This place nickel and dimed us for sub-par inconsistent food. Would not recommend anything other then the pizza....horrible customer service on the owners behalf. So we had a table of 3. Two guests ordered the Cavatelli and Broccoli, and 1 mistakingly ordered just the Cavatelli with tomato sauce (she only saw the cavatelli option and not the cavatelli and Broccoli choice on the bottom). So 1 guest asked for a side ceasar with balsamic on the side; it came with ceasar dressing on the salad. Now onto the Entrees. The first Cavatelli w/ broccoli that came out was fine. The second Cavatelli w/ broccoli that came out had about 3 to 5 small pieces of chicken...a very sparse amount. The guest asked the waiter if she could have another side of chicken because she did not have a lot of chicken on her plate. Mind you that a side of chicken is 3$; when the second side of chicken came out, it was quadrupled in size and sitting in a bowl of juice/broth of some sort...now this guest was frustrated because how can you charge 3 dollars for chicken that is so inconsistent in portion size. Regardless, onto the final guests meal. The guest who mistakingly ordered just the cavatelli asked the waiter for a side of broccoli and mildly explained how she thought she ordered the cavatelli and broccoli. The waiter asked if she wanted it sauteed and she said yes. He comes back with this huge portion of broccoli that is enough to feed the table. When all is finished we received the bill and noticed they charged us the appetizer broccoli ($8) for the "side of broccoli" that was suppose to come with the cavatelli and broccoli. They also charged another 3.00 for the extra chicken that was ordered when clearly the portion of chicken was off on the first place. When we asked the waiter to have the bill reduced ( just charge for 3 cavatelli and broccoli's since that was the intention) he spoke with the owners son who immidiately denied it. We payed, and tipped the waiter well since he handled everything as professionally as he could. Very disgusted with the management on...
Read moreI booked the reservation a week in advance for a party of 10 for my boyfriend's birthday. The lady I spoke to on the phone was so nice and inviting, but once we got there it was another experience, we ended up with 11 guest, so we had to switch tables, I tried to go up to the register and talk to whoever was in going to be taking care of us to , to explain how we were going to pay & make it as easy as possible. Since being a waitress and a bartender for the past 10 years in different diners , restaurants and bars , I could understand how a big party paying separately can become confusing , I was told by a man behind the counter, " to go just sit down & and the waitress will be over ". More spoken with a tone as if I was a child, our waitress Emily did her very best and her attitude was very upbeat and positive and very intentive, I'm not sure where things went wrong from her taking orders and then going to the kitchen , my boyfriend the birthday boy order chicken franchise dinner to go, and receive chicken marsala instead, they sent out addition tortellini dinner that no one heard anyone order and of my guest who was last to arrive and hadn't order diner yet, took the mistake and was charged over 40$ for a dish that wasn't even order at our table, but this was the topper , at the end all the bills we're given out, and only one of my guest out of everyone was charged gratuity for just one dinner. There were others at the table who got identical meals and was not charged gratuity. It's just plain unacceptable and...
Read moreThis review is not about the food, the food is really good but I dont like getting ripped off. We went there on a Thursday night and we made sure that we got there after 4 pm for happy hour. They offer $5 glass of wine so we ordered two glasses. When we got the bill they charged up $18. When I questioned it, the waitress said she brought us two glasses of Mezzacorona, their best wine. I asked about the happy hour prices and she said I did not ask for the happy hour wine. I did not know there was happy hour wine and I also told her that I did not ask for Mezzacorona wine but you brought that anyways. She kept saying that it was their best wine. I paid the bill and left for the last time, I will not be going back. After I left I noticed a picture I took pf their wine list and on the menu, the Mezzacorona was $8 a glass, she still over charged me. I also looked up the average price for Mezzacorona wine and it sells for $9 a bottle at your local package store, what a ripoff. It is sad how their greed cost them a costumer that has been going there once a week for...
