Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Stratford

Popeyes in Stratford Connecticut has got to be THE worst Popeyes I have ever been to. Just when I think it can’t get any worse, they do an amazing job of letting me know, they can always do worse. They are rude in just about every way possible, especially the girls taking the order and giving the order (more than likely the same girl if I had to guess and since they didn’t include a receipt I can’t say for sure who helped us but both are bad). I have experience after experience to back up this claim but today was just a run of the mill mess up for this location. My first time through the drive through, they forgot my tender meal. When I came back through to get the meal, instead of apologizing and working quickly to resolve the issue, they have an attitude about the fact that they messed up! Like seriously? So they attempt to fix the order. I say attempt, because they still managed to mess it up, forgetting to include one of the regular sides of coleslaw that was included with my meal! Not even wanting to bother to go back through for a 3rd time, I just left bc while I’m sitting there trying to fix what should have been fine, the rest of my food is getting cold. My last visit was so much worse, and if I had time, I would definitely detail that nightmare of a trip too, but just take my word for it…. Virtually every employee here couldn’t be worse if they tried.

Personally, I think they should fire everyone, right down to the manager, and start fresh. I get that it is Popeyes, and not a steakhouse, but I still spend hard earned money at this store weekly. Only to be dissatisfied week after week.

I was disapointed to hear their hyped up CHX SNWCH was on b/order for 2 weeks, huh? Is there a chicken shortage im unaware of? Fast forward a month or more later and the CHK SNWCH is back. I must say we ordered one of each (spicy&classic). We ordered at the drive thru about 10:45 am, i know early for lunch but the hype over these caused me not to miss out on them for another month. Although i uad a bacon egg and cheese on a thomas english muffic for brkfst just 1.5 prior, i was still up for the brunch CHKSNWCH. With just a couple of cara ahead of us and an empty dinning hall in Popeyes resturant, we still had to pull off to the side after they collected our money to wait for the sanwiches to be brought to is. Easy 10 mins went by and it felt lile an eternity. I started to believe it was a conspiracy theory for the conser to actually begin to feen like an addict. I mean werw they lilling live chickens bwhind the scenes. What the hold up for i couldnt understand. Then just as i was about to exit my car, my wife cries here she comes. She thanks us for our patients and handwd off the bag. I abrutly tear open the bag, grab one of the foiled package bags that containes the palm size sanwich and began to endulge. Of course i sought to compare it to the original ChkFilet Spicy ChkSnwch. Iust say ver comparable. The snwch meat was thick, a bit much mayo for me but i ate it all. I usually would request a lighter spread on the white concoction but i failed to do so at order so my bad. But since the nearest chlfilet is like 10 miles from me this Popeys ChkSnwch will fill...

They gave me 5 pieces of weird meat with no breading and a weird red/orange sauce on them. Went back and was told they gave me wrong order because the customer in front of me got my order for an accidental door dash delivery Then they give me 5 tenders in new box. I ask if they were spicy they say yes they are blackened. I then stated that I ordered spicy to which employee said they are spicy not blackened. I take a bite and not spicy. I tell employee it is not spicy. Employee argues with me then reaches toward me with the tongs she uses to get food and asks me to give her the half eaten piece of chicken which she then puts on the kitchen counter after I give her the piece. She then gets manager and he yells at me the food is spicy even though it clearly was not. I then politely ask for refund and manager grabs the chicken that was on counter and violently throws it on the ground and walks away. I then ask for my receipt that she never gave me at the beginning of the process. I read the receipt and the food I ordered on the receipt was completely different than what I initially ordered and the totals were wrong. They then demanded I give back the two incorrect boxes of food they gave me to which I complied. I am concerned for health and safety of customers since they used tongs that are meant for new orders to retrieve a half eaten piece of food. They put the half eaten food on the counter inside and then threw it on the floor. They charged me wrong and gave me the incorrect amount...
