I recently purchased furniture from Furniture Land, and my experience has been incredibly disappointing. During a sale, I bought a couch and a table, and the son of the owner gave us a nice discount. Unfortunately, this initial positivity quickly vanished.
We were supposed to receive our couch three weeks ago, but it didn’t arrive. Last week, we finally received a delivery, but it was the wrong couch! When I contacted Furniture Land, I was told that the couch I originally ordered was no longer available. Instead, they chose a random couch that matched the price I paid. This was not what I expected or agreed to at the time of purchase.
The situation worsened when I spoke to one of their employees. Instead of helping, he shifted the blame onto me and my girlfriend, even questioning her intelligence. It felt like I was being treated as if I were lying about the whole situation. Despite having my receipt, he still demanded proof of the original order.
After finally getting reassurance from another employee that they would pick up the wrong couch, that has still yet to happen. When they told us the correct couch would arrive today (Saturday), we were hopeful, but they never showed up and didn’t even bother to call. It was only after we reached out that we learned the couch has now been pushed to Monday.
At this point, I feel as though I’ve been scammed. My experience with Furniture Land has left me frustrated and heartbroken. After the terrible service I’ve received, I doubt I’ll ever return.
I hope they can improve their customer service, but for now, I cannot recommend this store to anyone.
I see the waiting game they seem to play which after Monday I’ll have no choice but to contact my...
Read moreI honestly can’t thank Alexander and Neil at Furniture Land enough. From the moment I walked in, I felt taken care of—like family. I had been through a really upsetting experience at another local furniture store where I felt completely taken advantage of, so walking into Furniture Land, I was guarded and unsure. But that changed fast.
Alexander was incredible. He helped me from start to finish—answered all my questions, was super patient, and truly listened to what I needed. He never made me feel rushed or pressured. It honestly felt like I was working with a friend who just wanted the best for me. He guided me through everything and stayed in touch the whole time to make sure I felt good and confident about the choices I was making.
Neil, the owner, is amazing. He made it a point to personally reassure me after hearing what happened at the other store. That meant a lot to me. He made sure I was happy, that I was getting quality furniture, and most importantly, that I was being treated right. You can tell he really cares about his customers.
My bedroom set was just delivered, and I’m OBSESSED. It’s absolutely beautiful—even better than I imagined. The quality is top-notch, and every single piece is perfect. I love walking into my bedroom now; it feels like my little dream space. I’m honestly so happy with it.
I’m beyond grateful to Alexander and Neil. They turned a frustrating experience into something so positive. I highly recommend Furniture Land to anyone looking for quality furniture and people...
Read moreWe had a really frustrating experience with Furniture Land. We were sold a sectional sofa and were told it was modular and reversible, which was a key reason we chose it. When it was delivered, we found out that it wasn’t reversible — the chaise couldn’t be flipped, and the configuration we needed (which was the one shown in-store) didn’t actually work.
Additionally, the sofa delivery was delayed an extra ~10 days after the original estimated delivery date.
The invoice just said “grey sectional” — no details about orientation, so there was nothing clear for us to agree on. When we reached out for help, the store repeatedly gaslighted and blamed us for the issue over phone and initially tried to charge us a $159 redelivery fee to fix it, and “waive the restocking fee” out of “courtesy”.
After we pushed back multiple times (and documented everything in writing), they finally agreed to replace the incorrect sections at no cost. However they then told us that they couldn’t get the sofa in “that configuration”, how convenient.
They also seem to avoid putting any resolution in writing, instead pushing phone calls and in store visits.
Google reviews are incentivised with free pillows, however, upon delivery of the sofa we were told they were on backorder and we’d need to pick them up...
