I discovered this park with my then 2 year old son 5 years ago by accident as we were driving around Sturgeon Bay. The plus side to this little gem - there's a little beach across from the park. The following year, the park was updated, and the beach was expanded. It has become our favorite park and beach to visit in Sturgeon Bay. The park has a "super fun" playground (my kids' words), a basketball court, a tennis court, and a nice size pavilion for events. There's enough green around the park for family gatherings, where the smell of charcoal and delicious grilled food fills the air. We love that the playground is set up with specific age groups of children in mind. There's a cute little playset for kids 18-36 month, another playset for kids 2-5, and then one for 6-12. The playground is also set on the nice rubber ground, which is a lot better than the messy and prickly woodchips. The beach is right across from the park. Both the park and beach are very clean. It's near the marina and quite a few restaurants. There is a somewhat small parking lot, where on a beautiful hot day, you may not be able to find a spot to park. But there is street parking around the park itself. This park and beach is perfect for families with...

Otumba park is one of two playground parks in Sturgeon Bay. It is the smallest park, but hosts a decent sized playground, large grassy areas, trees spread around the park, a sand volleyball court, a pavilion, and two tennis courts. The park is kept very clean, I've seen parks department trucks there as many as two times a week at points. This park also hosts the local YMCA Otumba Summer Camp that runs from 9 to 12pm on weekdays during the summer. The city also allows people to reserve out the pavilion for a day at a time. Otumba Park is a nice park that has the basics of what should come out of a...

We reserved the park for a family gathering the night before my wedding, and it was perfect! There was plenty of room to grill in the very nice picnic area and there was plenty for our attendees of all ages to do. There's a basketball court, a playground, a volleyball court, lots of fun for lawn games, and a beach with great swimming and sunset views. Highly recommend this place for family fun - just watch out for bees, as there was a nest in the tree near the volleyball court that got disturbed during a game when we were there, resulting in a quite a...

The new playground here is great. I do miss the old setup, as it used to have more trees (meaning more shade). But the new playground does have some cool stuff to play on. There is more now for my youngest to do because they have 2 separate play areas for different age groups. The purpose of the new playground was to allow kids of all ages and abilities to have things to do, and I think they succeeded in that respect. They also renovated the beach area in the last few years, too. So it's bigger.
