I am really disappointment in my care at this location. I came to LaserAway to treat unwanted body hair. However, over subsequent visits I came to regret my decision to try to get treatment here at all. I want to state that my primary motivations for choosing to proceed with treatment with this company was because they had a schedule that was very flexible. Most offices I had reached out to prior to them said that they would only be open M-F 9-5 (which is when I work). So despite being several thousand dollars over the price of their competitors, I figured you cannot put a price on peace of mind. My first attempt to get an appointment was a complete fail. The scheduler was overzealous and scheduled me to come during my lunch break from work. The timing would have worked out if the location of the LaserAway wasn't in a high traffic area of the mall. I CAME 45 MIN EARLY AND FOUND NO PARKING SPOT AND WASN'T ABLE TO MAKE MY APPOINTMENT. The salon near them has reserved parking for their customers but according to management since they lease the building from the mall, they are unable to extend reserved parking for their customers. After being disappointed that I wasted my time, I decided that I needed to schedule my appointments on the weekends when the mall was closed, because that was the only time I would be able to go into their office stress free. In my first official treatment visit the nurse was so nice and really cool. HOWEVER, during my session, the nurse had to stop about 3 times because the office either needed something in the room or needed her attention to something, etc. This bothered me because they DID NOT give me a courtesy knock (so I could be decent) by the time they pushed in. After this concerning encounter, I thought hopefully it will get better. 3 sessions later I can tell you it has not. In addition to having my naked body exposed to random people passing by, I was more frustrated with that fact that I was scheduling an appointment with a provide I wasn't able to get the providers undivided attention during treatment. Since COVID-19 put a pause on elective treatments, their offices have been closed. However, they will reopen May 11th, 2020 for body (face treatments might resume in July). So get this, they call me to try to get me back on their schedule so I can resume treatment. When they try to schedule me once again the scheduler was overzealous. And every time she tried to set a time, it was at a time that would not work for me because their hours are completely different now. I don't have a problem with their hours being different but they have limited the times available for treatment. So now I have paid about $6,700 worth of treatment that I cannot fully redeem because their availability is no longer what it use to be. And after telling the scheduler that she was not trying to work with me, she got really rude. She raised her voice and said something along the lines of "we were just trying to make it safe for you but since you don't want that call us back when you are ready," and hung up the phone. First of all if you are limiting the time that people are able to get treatment how do I know that they are using the proper precaution to sanitize and clean every treatment room between patients. In fact, since the office is so small they should keep their hours and only see one patient in the office at a time, because of social distancing. But I guess they would rather take your money than keep you safe. Overall, I would definitely go somewhere else to get treatment. Read moreThis place is horrible! Continuously called me regarding coming in for services and I finally signed up with their employee by the name of Gisselle. I was supposedly signed up for rf microneedling for 6 sessions, I have the email and pics of the areas for proof! However, when I came to my 4th appointment, I was advised that Gisselle had been fired due to her signing people up under a different service other than what they were advised and agreed upon! So the manager Kimberly Shash in the office, got on the phone with me and told me that they were not gonna complete my services and my remainder treatments because of what their employee supposedly did just to get customers to sign up with them! I was very upset and even went back and forth on the phone with her! She was extremely dismissive and RUDE! Even her employees that were there at the front desk said how rude she was, even to them and she actually hung up in the employee at the front desk’ face as well! I have never heard of this before! So they basically said that their employee Gisselle was signing customers up for a fake service and advising them they were getting a specific service just to get customers, and the customers had to suffer as if it was our fault and our services were not met because of this!?! To make it worst, you tell me this after completing 3 of my treatments and this was never said before EVER! There is no way! Their employee Raven was nice and I even spoke with her but Kimberly was very rude and should not be over any one, better yet dealing with customers and this also came from employees as well! Read moreI purchased a pkg of 8 to 10 laser hair removal treatments here for different parts of the body. Unfortunately after 1 treatment session I was left with a burning/tingling sensation. Reached out to the clinic on several occasions to speak to a nurse for advise but got no call back. I then sent an email letting them know I wanted to stop the treatment. Now, I started receiving multiple calls and emails b/c I was requesting the balance of my payment for the rest of the unused 7 to 9.
I was offered additional free sessions which I declined b/c I was already experiencing irritation from the first set of treatment so giving me "free" additional treatments is not a solution. Ultimately, they agreed to refund the balance of my unused payments and this is the main reason for my review. When I purchased the laser hair removal pkg, I paid a certain amount for the total number of treatments and so each treatment had a $ value however, when it was time to refund the balance for my unused treatments, they then increased the dollar value for each treatment, in effect keeping more of my money even though the reason I had to stop the treatment was b/c I suffered a complication from the treatment and could not get their nurses to call me back in a timely manner.
I felt that this was shady and dishonest business practice and it was sort of like their final "zinger" so they could keep more of my money.
