Pet Supplies Plus Telfair - Sugar Land — Attraction in Sugar Land

Store is very clean. They have a range of brands, but don't carry full lines of products; dog selection alot wider than cats which is rather disappointing. I was approached by one of the owners and asked if I needed help, so I asked if he could tell me about the company brand. He got a deer in the headlights look and quickly called over a rather young employee who thankfully had more knowledge than he did. I asked about the brand and she went to tell me about it. Sadly, I was recommend by the one other owner ( I'm guessing the 1st wife) to buy brands that aren't really good nutrition wise. I kept looking around and asked about delivery and return policy. The employees have to deliver in their personal cars (a liability in my opinion if they got in an accident) and the returns can only be returned if unopened/damaged. So, if my cat hates the food, I'm stuck with it? They really need more raw options and better quality food choices for cats. I think I'd rather go where I know I can trust my needs and pets needs are met, like Hollywood feed up the road, where I know if Peaches hates the food, I can return it and it gets donated to a shelter. They provided me with the most fantastic advice, answering all my questions patiently. I have a feeling they're seasoned dog parents themselves, drawing from a wealth of experience. The store is not only clean and well-stocked but also offers a variety of options beyond just dog supplies. I noticed they have a dedicated section for other pets, all neatly organized and taken care of by the staff.

This is an AMAZING place to get your pet supplies. We foster many kitties and have many of our own with allergies that require specific litter needs. The manager is amazing. He always talks to us and we had a great conversation about my cat’s needs and the needs of our amazing foster babies. You literally will never experience this at big box retailers. He let me know to call him when I need my supplies and told me he’d have coupons and that there’s sales during the end of the month. How dang cool is it to have an amazing person running your pet supply store who shows you his wonderful pets and loves to talk about your animals needs?! They’re even running adoption events!
