I've had great experiences here over the years but today I feel like I got swindled. I went in to sell some pops as I've done in the past and they definitely offer a decent price to buy them compared to other places in the area. Last time I was in they mention it would make it easier for them if I had a list of the pops with the estimated value which so I did just that using the Funko app to list the pops I brought with me. I was instantly greeted when I walked in by a gentlemen I told him why I was there and pulled up the list on my phone of the pops I wanted to sell. He started to scan them until another employee came out and he passed my pops over to him didnt let him know I had a list or anything. Typically when I've taken pops in im told what they are offering vs the value price but this time was different I didnt really get that communication until I questioned the offer which I felt was kinda low vs the value. The employee told me "yea well we're not offering what we used to because we just bought 2 large lots of pops." I was still never really told what they were purchasing them for. Considering how many I took in and the value vs what I was given they only really gave $10 per pop. Even though I wasn't happy with the offer I accepted it for two reasons one being there a local shop and are big for the community the second being I've been on the other side of the counter where you processed an entire trade only to have someone say no and you spent all that time...
Read moreI’ve been shopping at palmetto gaming a little over a year now, and have now completely stopped shopping at any other gaming store. The prices are EXTREMELY fair, comparable to any and all retailers you can suggest. The selection is incredibly vast, and nowhere near lacking in any genre or time period! Jimmy, the owner, is the sweetest, most wholesome man I’ve had the pleasure of knowing as well. In our time together, he’s tracked things down for me and has generously gone out of his way to provide me with the exact product I’m looking for, in the BEST possible condition, most of the times new or like new!! His trade in policy is also a force to be reckoned with, and as an ex-manager of a GameStop, I would recommend you take all gaming and pop things to him before shopping around yourself to get the best possible prices. With all of this being said, this store deserves the world and if you’re in the market for a new place to collect, build friendships, or just enjoy the nostalgia from seeing childhood games in their former glory, I will always recommend Palmetto Gaming to anyone and everyone I encounter. With all of this being said, There are absolutely no cons to his store, and the staff is exceptional all around. Never had a business care more for my needs than palmetto gaming.

Read moreAwesome store with an extremely organized selection of games. Connor and the other employees were a great help and gave me an awesome deal on a trade for a nearly mint 2DS. The only problem as I returned home in Virginia the SD card reader was refusing to read any SD card I put in it. So why is this review a 5 star? Well, after a singular phone call with the owner answering immediately and apologizing multiple times he asked how he could make it right? He got my information and offered to send a console of the same quality to me FREE OF CHARGED and payed for my shipping and material cost to send the broken console back NO QUESTIONS ASK. In fact, he had the new console shipped the day of the conversation without even confirmation that the old one had shipped. Listen this business deals in second hand products owned by 7 years from anywhere from 15-30 years ago. Ish happens and Palmetto Games tackled it with the best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. Stop supporting the corporate overlords and support companies like this. Yes, even if it cost a little more and yes if you have to go into a physical store. Because no matter what with used products something will happen but let me promise you Palmetto will have...
