It was our first time and I was a little excited about checking the place out. First off, there was a big price shock (about $3-9 more than Vicious Biscuit). I ordered the “BELLY BUSTER” and my wife ordered “The MAMA’s BOY.” My wife went to find us a table to sit and the associate argued with my wife over where she wanted us to sit. My wife has a broke foot and has to use a knee scooter, so she could not sit in the middle of the floor with everybody bumping into her broke foot…so that pissed my wife off and the associate didn’t seem to care about my wife’s special needs. My small (3” diameter) buttermilk biscuit was rock hard, dry, and cold. It tasted as if sugar was put into the batter. The buttermilk fried chicken breast on both my biscuit and my wife’s biscuit were dry, over fried, and tasted burnt. The sausage on my biscuit was burnt black and was cold. The bacon was cold, rock hard, and burnt black. The brisket was also cold, burnt black, rock hard. The small piece of cheddar cheese was cold and looked like a piece of plastic. The worst part was the nasty mushroom gravy, it tasted like it came out of a cream of mushroom soup can. It was a coagulated gel that was also cold (nasty). Lastly, my over easy egg was over cooked rock hard and…ice cold. My wife’s biscuit sandwich was also rock hard and cold. The waitress forgot my tater tots so I had to wait 15 min for them to arrive. This was NOT a good meal, certainly NOT worth the price and wait. We’ll be taking our business to Vicious Biscuit...
Read moreI was very excited to try this place and they did not disappoint. Amazing customer service! From Ciara at the front counter who was so pleasant, to Davanh who helped us and made sure we had everything we needed. Even the hostess was nice and inviting. Chicken biscuit was 8/10. The biscuit itself seemed to be cooked a little too long. It was in the shape of a heart, so cute! Chicken was hot, juicy, and very well-seasoned. The bourbon maple syrup is thin, not overly sweet, and has a hint of bourbon flavor. I poured the syrup over my chicken and dipped the biscuit in it. Bonuts were 10/10! They were also shaped into little hearts :) Served hot and fresh with a soft interior, covered in cinnamon sugar. Comes with dipping sauces on the side -- bourbon cream cheese frosting and berry jam. Absolutely delicious. Their omelettes are served inside out, toppings placed across the top. The T-Bird comes with tender turkey, a poblano-tomato sauce, avocado & side of home fries or cheese grits. The omelette itself could have been a little bigger and hotter, but the amount of toppings was satisfactory. 8/10 Brown Sugar Shaken drink has a light body. They only have oat milk as an alternative. Great selection of breakfast cocktails. Also should note that the prices are very reasonable. Overall a very good experience....
Read moreOn a whim my wife & I stopped in for lunch. The food was delicious and it's presentation was asethically appealing. However, what I found to be the best part of this casual restaurant was it's fabulous service, the service was anything but casual. Why do I say this? I had ordered our meal, went to our table, sat down and realized I had forgot to order my coffee. One of the waitresses, Cynthia, noticed that I had a strange look on my face & asked if there was anything I needed. I told her that I had forgotten to order a cup of coffee and that I was getting up to go back through the line to order. She asked what kind of coffee I wanted, I said just s regular cup. She walked away and brought me a regular cup of Joe with a smile. I got up so I could pay for it and she said, " no worries, it's OK, enjoy." Her smiling face and rare customer service changed my day. As my beautiful wife always tells me, "it's the little things that make a difference in life." Cynthia, thank you for your cheerful smile and friendly service, you make a difference. So, if we're a person who likes to have a biscuit now and then stop by the Biscuit Belly. It won't only fill your belly you might just...
