I’ll have to revisit this place to give it another try! I was so excited because of the drink selection and atmosphere. Upon walking in on a Thursday night, we didn’t know what to do because it was our first time there. The sign at the door was blank so after seeing no one in sight for some time (the bar was packed full)… we sat ourselves. The whole 20min we sat there, not one server came out. We saw someone rush to the back that looked like a manager but that was the first time we saw anyone. Just before going to the bar to ask what the ordering process was a waitress came out. One waitress for 4-5 tables it looked like. Not a particularly busy night but for one person, I’m sure it was overwhelming. We told her right away we knew what we wanted. It took a while for the flight to come out. I told her we were ready for the check so we can go eat somewhere else (not much food options here) and it took another chunk of time to flag her down again to ask for the check. Then… more time for her to come back to get the card and process it. It was a very long wait for everything. I’d love to return after a dinner one night when we have more time. Prices are a little steep but worth it for...

Was up visiting in Summerville and popped into this place for after dinner drinks. I can honestly say, having lived downtown and in Mt. Pleasant, there is NOWHERE like this place anywhere. It is such a gem. They have an insanely good bourbon selection (with bourbons that have become impossible to find around SC, like Eagle Rare), and their espresso martini was arguably the best I have ever had (and I'm a bartender). The ambiance and atmosphere is so amazing, the three distinct rooms are so fun, the music, the old books, the mood lighting, all of it just such a great vibe. And finally, our server (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name, short blonde hair and glasses) was SO lovely. This is one of those rare places that is perfect for a date night, a girls's night, or even sitting solo with a book and enjoying a drink or two. I will without a doubt be back.

Places like this give me hope for the food and...

Update on my previous review as my wife and I have been back several times. This is not a restaurant but a very upscale cocktail bar. Perhaps a bit pricey but you get what you pay for and keeps the rowdies away . Large selection of quality spirits and very interesting specialty drinks. Very knowledgeable wait staff particularly Michelle. Just a great place for a pre dinner or post dinner drink. A big plus for the historic Summerville community!

Previous review as follows:

Stopped by with my wife and a neighbor for a cocktail! Not something you would expect to find in little historic Summerville. Chic beautifully decorated bar you would expect to find in downtown Charleston. Wonderful, elaborate cocktail menu with some interesting mixes. Large offerings of spirits and they offer bourbon flights . Outdoor patio seating available. Limited selection of small bites available....
