I recently moved to South Bay Area and went to the their salon due to its proximity and reasonable prices. However, given my initial visit was good, I made 2-3 visits again. But the staff is really unprofessional, not just that even the owner is dismissive of customers concerns. I understand that some days could be overwhelming for the staff but they should be respectful of their clients time and money. I have had multiple rude and dismissive responses by their staff, which is why, my most recent visit is probably going to be the last one. I have been to other salons which might be a little expensive compared to their prices but atleast they have the decency to treat their customers well and be considerate towards them. Both the owner as well as the staff are dismissive of customers complaints and concerns. I think I would like to personally thank Mrs. Naina, who, in my opinion really cared for what the customer actually wants and listens closely instead of dismissing customer queries. I wish there were 0 stars, so that I could rate it here, but I think this 1 star is only for that one staff that I have mentioned above in my review. The other staff ruined my eyebrows right before my vacation and did not have the courtesy of accepting their mistakes. The way they treat the customers is not great, given those services are being paid for and not given for free. Maybe they should hold accountability and mannerism classes from somewhere before...
Read moreThis is a new salon. I went to this place for eyebrows and upper lips. I have lived in the Bay Area for more than a decade and have been to plenty of salons in the South Bay. First thing I couldn't stop noticing was - this salon was extremely clean, spacious and new, as opposed to typical Indian Bay Area salons that are cramped and not so clean (I stopped going to them before I found this place). The girl Reet was very welcoming and professional. She was very patient listening to my requirements and re-does (I am picky :)). She did a great job. I was pleasantly surprised to know that they also rent bridal collection. I asked to see the collection, I found it quite decent, I will consider renting it if I need to. They also sell bridal bangles. Their location is fantastic as they are next to the popular Indian grocery store “Apna Bazaar”. She was also offering 10% discount if you buy groceries at Apna Bazaar. I did not avail it as I was rushing, but next time I am planning to buy groceries and avail that discount. There is plenty of parking in the complex. I particularly liked this salon after going to the terrible Kashish beauty salon for years, getting frustrated, and decided to stop going to India salons altogether (Kashish wouldn’t even follow mask mandate). Check my 1 star review of Kashish if you want to...
Read moreI wish I could give this place zero stars. Total disappointment and completely unprofessional!
I made an appointment the previous day but ended up wasting my time. They don’t seem to value their clients’ time, as they prioritized others who arrived after me, claiming they were long-time customers with appointments at the same time. The salon was understaffed, with only one person handling all the clients.
She asked me to wait, saying she had called her boss to send someone else, but instead, she proceeded to take another client for a waxing service. I waited for almost 45 minutes, during which no one else showed up, and the person continued working with the other client. Frustrated, I asked the owner for an update, only to be told it would take another 20 minutes for someone to arrive. By this time, I had already waited over an hour.
The owner tried to persuade me not to leave a review by offering a discount, but at that point, I just wanted to get the service done. I waited an additional 10 minutes, and still, no one showed up. I was so frustrated that I left and went to another nearby salon, where the service was truly remarkable.
Save yourself the hassle and avoid this place! Appointments here are completely pointless and a...
