Wow, this park has it all! The park accommodates any type of family! You can even bring your dog to enjoy this park as there is a good sized dog park.
Ok, so there is an enclosed kids park for the 1-5 yr old kids which includes slides, swings, sand pit and an interactive wall with sensory type objects to play with. The enclosed park can be opened and closed by parents. Another great plus is the fact that the bathrooms are close by incase you had to use the bathroom quickly.
The second play area is for older kids 6-12 range. This area includes several rock like structures for climbing and several slides everywhere. A boat themed structure with cannon drums and flags and plenty of space for kids to run.
Another play area is for water play! Bring the kids trunks and bathing suits as they will get the chance to be soaked! Again the bathroom is steps away if they need to change.
Then to round things off they have a large 100+ yards of field to set up a volleyball net, play Frisbee or just throw the ball around. There is also a basketball court and two tennis courts!
There are also several bench areas you can set up a BBQ to accommodate a party.
Sadly there is a negative to this park and it's the parking. The parking is nonexistent! You would be lucky if you didn't need to use the street parking...but expect to park pretty far away and walk with your kids to the park area...if it wasn't for the bad parking situation, this park is a...
Read moreupdate 6/27/23 - The smaller kids portion of the playground is closed due to an unspecified safety concern. The portion is locked off and it states that repairs are not expected until near the end of summer. Still a fun park!
This is a fantastic park! There are two separate play structures. One is for smaller kids and has swings, climbing structures, slides, musical toys, and more. There are lots of benches and the area is gated so it's easier to let kids explore without wandering off. The second play area is for bigger kids. There are swings, climbing rope structures, and a large pirate ship play structure with slides, bridges, and more. There are lots of small details that make it a great play area like scavenger hunts built into the structure. There is also a large grass area with musical play pieces and a teeter totter around it. You can play on the tennis court and half basketball court too. There is even a splash pad area that opens at 10am as well. You can spend hours at this park exploring all the different areas. The only downside is parking is extremely limited. The lot only has 6 regular stalls and street parking fills up quickly so...
Read moreWe visited Seven Seas Park today and my kids had so much fun! The splash pad is perfect for younger children to cool off and play safely. They also loved the sand area — next time we’ll definitely bring beach toys so they can enjoy it even more! The park has restrooms and they were clean, which is great for families. It would be nice to have an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand, but the splash pad’s water jets work well enough for that. There’s plenty of parking and the whole area feels very safe. We even saw groups of kids on school field trips, which was really nice to see. There are grills and picnic tables too, so you can bring your own food and have a great time with family and friends. This park is perfect for spending the summer — 100% recommend for a fun...
