Warhammer — Attraction in Swatara Township

I'm more of a Lorehammer 40k person than an actual table top player, but wanted to pop in to see the new store and maybe buy some paint to at least support a local business. The owner/manager was super friendly, walked me and my girlfriend through a sample game of Marines VS Tyranids, and explained the new store, the fun event schedules, and even sent us home with a free mini each, which was cool.

The store is well lit, very clean, and offers several tables for gaming and painting. The owner/manager knows his stuff and will make sure you leave the store with what you came for or with things on order. He even points folks towards other local game shops that may have things that he doesn't, which is super cool of him. Selection is great, digital kiosks let you research and lookup anything not on the walls, and it's in a convenient place flanked by several restaurants, so you can grab food before a long gaming session.

As someone wanting to try this hobby out for the first time I had many questions and Evan was exactly who I was looking for, he was able to answer all my questions that were related to any part of the hobby like building, painting techniques and the many ways to play. Evan really made my first experience fun and engaging, I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking to get into warhammer as I had a fantastic time, given that Evan very much has a lot of passion himself for the hobby.
