Five Guys — Restaurant in Swatara Township

I think it's important that people read this review before going to this specific 5 guys. I called up to place my order and was told to hold, during that 2 minute period it was clear that all the person had done was cover the receiver and was yelling something to a person. After listening to that I was met with a poor attitude and mumbling. I get take out and go out to eat at least once a week so I know that great phone etiquette isn't something one should always expect. When I got there to pick my food up it wasn't ready, which is usually something I expect when ordering takeout because that's just how it goes. So I get in & there were 2 or 3 guys making the food and 2 guys behind the counter. The 2 guys behind the counter were staring me down the whole time I was there and had an attitude with me as if I had done something wrong to them, even as I paid for my order. Usually I confront people about acting like that towards me, but I was in a particularly good mood so I didn't trouble myself with it. All I was doing while I waited was sit & check my phone, but these 2 guys kept looking at me like I did something wrong. A female employee that was eating on break smiled at me in that polite way people do when they accidentally make eye contact but that's the only thing I can figure must've set these guys off. As a business owner and someone who has worked a lot of crappy jobs I think behavior like this is completely uncalled for especially if someone has literally done nothing but walk into an establishment and give you their business. The burgers were ok but I won't be going into this 5 guys any time soon because if I'm smiling, being polite, and giving you the money I worked hard for then I expect at least some kind of neutral politeness in return instead of 2 people glaring, scowling, and being...

I don’t normally write reviews but I have to in this case . As a customer going out and trying to enjoy a meal from one of my favorite places ,I am appalled at the scene I witnessed tonight. An older employee maybe in his 30s was verbally abusing two younger teenage employees over an incident he caused . He threw drink lids all over the floor and told them to pick it up. As anyone would do they asked him to clean up the mess he caused that’s when the shouting and cursing from him started. As the situation progressed a manager came out and also started berating the two younger employees with no context except that the older employee was enraged. That’s not the kicker, the manager sent one of the younger girls home cause she was defending herself. Her mother came and wanted to know why two adults were treating the teens this way and she was met with disrespect and derogatory racist remarks that I won’t repeat by the manager. I had to know who these people are so after speaking with the employees the managers name was Jordan and the older male employees name is Aaron . I cannot believe the ball that was dropped when hiring these employees the anger issues, and unprofessional behaviors by the older staff...

Won’t be ordering from here again.

I’m literally writing this after recording my door dash delivery. It has been years since i ordered from 5G’s (before pandemic) and i was highly disappointed. This used to be my favorite burger shop. I broke my diet to order from them today and my order was as sad as the fries look in the pic! My milkshake was milk! The burgers were good but they did me dirty with the fries. 5 G’s is not a cheap place to order from! Two little fries are over $12 and a milkshake is almost $8. My fries were cold, under-seasoned, and overcooked!!!! Burgers and fries go hand-in-hand so, how do you mess fries up if you’re suppose to be known for your fries? This was such a disappointment. I requested my money back from DD and i called 5G’s to speak to a Mgr because somebody is messing up royally over there. I was put on hold where I could the workers continuing to take orders and ignoring me on hold. I will NOT be ordering from this 5G ever again. I only pray that the others have their workers in top gear. The food is too expensive to be playing games with...
