Hanna & Tiger's is a great little shop with a wonderful selection of various Asian products hard to come by in your typical grocery store.
I highly recommend their beer and sake selection. Especially the SAPPORO and Asahi brands consistently found in the mart. If you're looking for something closer to a Lager, No Mames beer is one they stocked recently, it has a nice kick to that's sure to get you your money's worth. For sake, I recommend the Ozeki Nigori Cloudy Sake brand. Comes in various flavors like Strawberry, Pineapple, and Yuzu. If you want something a bit more in-between, there's Korean soju as well. Sometimes on rotation is the Jinro brand Soju. Also comes in a variety of flavors like Ozeki Nigori.
Next best recommendation is the wide selection of milk-tea and coffee. I especially recommend the Boss Coffee and UCC brands. Those never miss. They even recently stocked some flavored milks that come in banana, strawberry, and peach flavors from the +28 Street brand. Real hard to come across here in the U.S. but they all go great with the wide array of light snacks they have. It doesn't end there either. They have other Asian soft-drinks like Ramune and Ocean Bomb brands.
Speaking of, their selection extends to well known brands here, like Lays, Doritos, Kit-Kat, and more. With flavors almost exclusively available to Asian regions. There's going to be a few that I'm sure will catch your eye, and any of the drinks above will go great with it.
Other than their products, their staff are super helpful and very kind. They were quick to answer any questions or concerns I had, and were more than willing to check backroom stock for anything they haven't been able to stock yet. Overall outstanding experience, and I really recommend anyone come give the store a shot if you have an interest in Asian produce and items you won't find...
Read moreHannah and Tiger’s Asian Mart has been on my list for a while. I’ve wanted to check them out since I saw that they sell the viral fruit ice cream. I was actually in the area and they were four minutes from where I was so I had to check them out.
I love discovering new Asian Marts as they carry different items and it’s fun to walk around and explore. There is also a small food spot connected to the Asian Mart. I will also say it was difficult to find which door was the actual entrance. I thought maybe they were closed, but I finally found the door to enter all the way on the left side.
Hannah and Tiger’s Asian Mart has an extensive amount of unique options for such a small space. Somehow I walked out of there with $93 worth of Asian groceries. I don’t even know what I bought. Lol.
Finally got to try the viral fruit ice cream, snagged the Summer Lemon flavor. They also had the blue milk flavored and lime flavored options. They sell each one for $5.99 or a 3-pk for $15.99. Way less expensive than the ones I found at the Indian market that sold each one for $7.99, including if you bought it in a 3-pk version.
Heliah, I may have jacked up her name and if so I’m sorry. She was working and I got to chat with her while she rang me up. Very sweet and friendly. I saw they had the frozen potato bread but I wanted the purple potato bread you can only find in Cali at H Mart. She said they usually have it but may be sold out. I’ll be back for those. Another thing is the area where check out is can get very tight and intimate when there is a line.
Cute Asian market. They are small but also have 4 locations total in Killian, Sweetwater, Coral Gables and South Miami. I’ll have to scope out the other...
Read moreThis Asian mart has everything you might need! Marinated Korean beef, a HUGE ramen selection, fresh vegetables for such a great price. You definitely get your money’s worth here! Every Friday morning they receive FRESH bakery items too! Fluffy cheesecake, red bean buns, meat floss cakes, and so many more... I believe anything you’re looking for, they’ll have it! Sake, beer, teas, sweets, and the frozen section is AWESOME! The staff is extremely friendly, you can ask them anything!
A lot of products show manufacturing dates instead of best before dates so make sure to check before you assume it’s expired! One of the young ladies showed this to me! They also give away expired products for free for those who don’t care and would like to try something new! I tried some of the stewed duck lay’s , they’re savory and taste really good. My favorite...
