Joe & Pie Pizzeria — Restaurant in Edgewood

This pizza place is HIRED! My son has a disability and he has alot of eating problems, he will go days without eating solid food due to his problems with texture sensitivities as well as some swallowing issues { Thank the good Lord for meal replacement drinks;) } Having said that, my son will ALWAYS eat at least 2 slices of this pizza, minus the crusts since they're a different texture if the cheesy part. !!!!!! Now that's saying something, if my son likes something this much, it's quality stuff. And even though I'm on a diet-- I CAN ALWAYS MAKE AN EXCEPTION FOR JOE N PIE PIZZA!! ;) ;) ;) ;) I think this is also worth mentioning, every single person who we have came across working in this wonderful restaurant, they've always been so kind to both me and my son, and my son is sometimes bouncing off the walls, screaming and running from me as much as he can, and the employees just smile and ALWAYS hand him a cookie at the end of our meal. I have NEVER had a bad experience at Joe and Pie. My wife and I tried it for the first time last October and it was incredible. We’ve probably had their pizza a couple times a month since that time and it’s always the exact same: incredible. Another thing: every time I order take out here, it’s ALWAYS insanely fast. At the end of the phone call, I’m always told at the very minimum 15 minutes and at the most 20 minutes. Sure enough every time I get to the restaurant, my food is ready to go. Every time. The service is unmatched and the owner is so kind every time I go to pick up. Always tells me thank you and to have a good night. Joe and Pie is just consistently great every time I order with them and that’s not something I can say about 90% of the places I eat at. At 645 tonight we ordered a pizza and appetizer to be delivered from j&p, the website took us directly to eatstreet so we completed our order through that . We got a confirmation email and a time of delivery for 7:09pm . At around 740 we called the store since we hadn't received our order yet and we're told there was a mistake in the system and it would be delivered in 10 minutes ..... 30 minutes goes by and we call back and are told that they never got our order! We said we talked to you 30 minutes ago and you told us that our order would be here in 10 ! The guy says we'll you'll have to call eatstreet we never got it and hangs up ! My card had already been charged so I called eatstreet customer service and they woman says that they had even called j&p and confirmee the order!!
